Carto Collectibles Guide: 6 Secret Pieces, Airship, and Chalet Reading

Secrets are collectibles separate from required story map pieces. A chapter-completion achievement does not necessarily mean you collected its secret.
All 6 secret pieces
Chapter selection returns you to scenes containing secrets. The pieces need not all be collected in a single playthrough.

Snowman: Village head and branches, fixed body, and ice-surface hat
A house stands at the center of the village square piece. Upper-left/lower-left/lower-right below refer to the example piece's orientation; rotating it changes world directions. Distinguish the collectible head and branches from the immovable body. The hat is around the unsigned ice's outer edge on the Z piece, not on the new straight piece obtained later.
- Collect the head and branches around the village house.
- Connect and rotate to reach the Z piece's ice surface from around the edge, then collect the hat beside the white rock.
- Return to the body beside the village ladder and examine it with all three parts: head, branches, and hat.

Four targets in total: three pickups—head, branches, hat—and the fixed body. These are not input sequences between every ice rock or fixed world directions unaffected by rotation.
Check chalet reading before and after each visit
“Voracious Reader” requires reading all chalet stories. “The Little Cartographer” at the entrance changes as you progress, so read it on each visit and reread it on the way out after completing your errand.

Airship and revisiting
After collecting 6 secret pieces, open the airship through Secrets on the main menu. Connecting the airship piece at the story's end does not substitute for this achievement.
- Check the Secrets frame for missing pieces.
- After finishing, use chapter selection to replay the scene containing a missing piece.
- When all 6 are collected, return to Secrets and open the airship.
- Compare remaining tasks with the achievement list, including reading and crate sorting.
