⚔️ Six Skill-Tree Directions
Ranger (Ranger) Example 1 Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆

A ranged build direction that creates bow attack opportunities while maintaining space. Check the current descriptions of skills such as Barrage and Puncture before investing. Carry ammunition, manage stamina and leave a way to escape close pressure. It is an option for solo play, not a measured win-rate or highest-DPS claim.

🏹 Main Weapon
Bow
🎯 Skill Focus
Bow skills, critical hits and stamina management
🗡️ Solo Planning

A ranged style that keeps a distance with a bow while tracking arrows and an escape route. Instead of treating 40% critical chance as a fixed target, choose upgrades that fit your bow, gear, and current skill tree.

👥 Co-op Planning

Coordinate targets and keep a clear line of fire around the front line. Read each arrow’s current effects rather than assuming poison and fire always stack to your advantage.

▍ Skills, Spells & Checks

  • • Barrage (inspect the current node)
  • • Puncture (inspect the current node)
  • • Double Jump (movement)
  • • Equipment perk effects
  • • Arrow and equipment upgrade requirements

▍ Gameplay Tips

  • • Check the line of fire and a way down before using high ground.
  • • Make arrow replenishment part of the return-to-base routine.
  • • Check the Shroud timer and escape route before attacking.
Wizard (Wizard) Example 2 Difficulty: ★★★☆☆

A spell-focused build direction using staffs and wands. Check available spells such as Fireball and Ice Bolt and their consumable requirements, then manage mana through the fight. Choose attacks for groups or single targets as needed. Effective choices depend on enemy resistance and the current skill effects.

🏹 Main Weapon
Staff and wand
🎯 Skill Focus
Spell damage, mana management and matching gear to spells
🗡️ Solo Planning

A magic style that switches between staff spells and a wand while managing mana, spell charges, and an escape route. Try available spells such as Fireball or Ice Bolt without planning around skills you have not unlocked.

👥 Co-op Planning

Stand behind the front line and choose area attacks according to enemy positions. Agree on when to open fire rather than drawing enemies onto yourself before teammates engage.

▍ Skills, Spells & Checks

  • • Fireball (spell)
  • • Ice Bolt (spell)
  • • Light Burst (spell)
  • • Spell charges / Eternal spells
  • • Equipment upgrades with the Alchemist

▍ Gameplay Tips

  • • Check mana and spell charges before a boss.
  • • Choose area attacks for enemy positions and check the effects and range of the spells you use.
  • • Keep an escape lane and stay within reach of the front line.
Warrior (Warrior) Example 3 Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆

A front-line direction built around a one-handed weapon and shield. Combine weapon-appropriate nodes such as One-Handed Specialization with defensive options. Avoid spending all stamina on blocking; retain room to dodge and counter. Coordinate enemy attention in co-op, without assuming a mandatory fixed tank class.

🏹 Main Weapon
One-handed weapon and shield
🎯 Skill Focus
Melee weapons, defense, stamina and enemy attention
🗡️ Solo Planning

A one-handed melee and shield style for learning to switch between attacking, blocking, and parrying. Practice against each enemy’s animation and indicator rather than parrying every attack at the same midpoint.

👥 Co-op Planning

Hold the front line while leaving space for ranged teammates. Inspect the current effects of attention-related skills such as Nemesis. Having a healer does not guarantee indefinite survival.

▍ Skills, Spells & Checks

  • • One-Handed Specialization
  • • Warden
  • • Absorb
  • • Snap
  • • Nemesis

▍ Gameplay Tips

  • • Practice using enemy parry indicators and attack tells.
  • • Check shield and armor upgrades with the Blacksmith.
  • • In co-op, watch the boss’s facing and teammates’ escape routes.
Barbarian (Barbarian) Example 4 Difficulty: ★★★☆☆

A two-handed build direction focused on committed hits and spacing. Use a heavy attack during an enemy opening and reserve stamina to escape afterward. Match skill nodes and armor to the chosen weapon. This is an open-tree build direction, not a fixed low-HP class with an assumed automatic berserk state.

🏹 Main Weapon
Two-handed axes, hammers and similar weapons
🎯 Skill Focus
Weapon-specific nodes, heavy attacks and recovery windows
🗡️ Solo Planning

A two-handed melee style built around learning attack recovery and leaving time to dodge or block after a hit. Practice your actual weapon, and do not deliberately lower health for a condition you have not checked.

👥 Co-op Planning

Attack enemies alongside the tank without blocking escape lanes during long animations. Time attacks around visible stun states and preserve stamina and a retreat route.

▍ Skills, Spells & Checks

  • • Two-handed light attacks
  • • Two-handed heavy attacks
  • • Weapon Special Ability unlock
  • • Double Jump
  • • Check equipment protection

▍ Gameplay Tips

  • • Study attack recovery instead of deliberately lowering your health.
  • • Choose weapon perks by reading their current descriptions.
  • • Learn melee spacing and an escape route.
Healer (Healer) Example 5 Difficulty: ★★★★☆

A support direction using healing-related skills and spells. Check their current range and activation requirements, then manage ally positioning and your own mana. Bring an attack for self-defense as well as healing. This guide does not assume universal holy damage, anti-undead bonuses or resurrection abilities.

🏹 Main Weapon
Healing spells and magic equipment
🎯 Skill Focus
Healing effects, mana and ally positioning
🗡️ Solo Planning

A style that keeps recovery options while attacking with available wands or spells. Read the current healing amounts and conditions, then combine the attacks and recovery options available to you.

👥 Co-op Planning

Watch teammates’ health and your own safety, alternating recovery and attacks. Build around actual nodes, spells, and consumables and distinguish recovery options from helping a downed teammate.

▍ Skills, Spells & Checks

  • • Healer spell (spell)
  • • Martyr (spell)
  • • Healing-node activation conditions
  • • Recovery consumable supply
  • • Equipment upgrades with the Alchemist

▍ Gameplay Tips

  • • Agree with teammates on the actual recovery options and their reach.
  • • Keep an escape route and watch for enemies approaching the back line.
  • • Practice switching between recovery and attacks in a safe place.
Trickster (Trickster) Example 6 Difficulty: ★★★★★

A direction built around magic and resource interactions. Read options such as Bloodletting and Blood Magic and check both their benefit and their resource cost. Version 1.0 moved dagger skills toward Assassin, so choose from the actual current tree.

🏹 Main Weapon
Equipment matched to the chosen magic build
🎯 Skill Focus
Current requirements of options such as Bloodletting and Blood Magic
🗡️ Solo Planning

A magic utility style that checks interactions between critical hits and recovery resources. Trickster is not treated as a dagger-only assassin; this example looks at magic-related nodes such as Bloodletting and Blood Magic.

👥 Co-op Planning

Combine magic and utility without obstructing teammates. For daggers, inspect Assassin-side nodes separately; keep them separate from Trickster’s magic-related nodes.

▍ Skills, Spells & Checks

  • • Bloodletting
  • • Blood Magic
  • • Magic critical-hit conditions
  • • Equipment perk effects
  • • Monitor mana and health

▍ Gameplay Tips

  • • Check magic critical-hit activation conditions in the current node.
  • • Look for dagger nodes on the Assassin side.
  • • Keep an escape route and check the resources needed for recovery and attacks.
👥 Co-op Role Guide (Up to 16 Players)

For co-op with up to 16 players, discuss front-line, damage, and recovery tasks. A four-player example is one front-line player, two damage dealers, and one recovery role. Neither four players nor a dedicated healer is required; prepare equipment and recovery options for solo or smaller groups too.

Tank (Front Line)

Preferred Class: Warrior
Alternative Class: Barbarian

Draw attention on the front line and make room for ranged attacks and recovery. A Warrior-oriented defense and parry setup is one option, but enemy attention is not guaranteed to remain fixed.

Main Damage Dealer (Middle Line)

Preferred Class: Barbarian / Ranger
Alternative Class: Wizard

Deal damage to enemies engaged by the front line. A Barbarian-oriented melee style or Ranger-oriented ranged style are examples; choose according to your gear and comfort rather than a fixed strongest-class ranking.

Support Damage Dealer (Back Line)

Preferred Class: Wizard
Alternative Class: Ranger

Choose spells or ranged attacks for grouped enemies and take pressure off the front line. Area attacks are not always the most efficient choice; check sightlines, resources, and enemy positions.

Healer (Back Line)

Preferred Class: Healer
Alternative Class: Wizard

Monitor team health and recovery options, and coordinate help for downed teammates. A dedicated healer is one possible role, not a mandatory requirement for groups of four or more.

📊 Skill-Point Allocation Guide

Early Game (Levels 1–10)

Early on, try basic attacks, blocking, and dodging with your available weapon, and read the relevant nodes. Build a usable attack and movement setup rather than following a fixed order to upgrade two or three attack skills first.

Midgame (Levels 11–20)

In the midgame, choose core nodes for the weapon or spells you use most. Before branching out, check the path and additional points required. Individual skill resets are available in the tree; inspect the current UI for their conditions.

Late Game (Level 21+)

Later, review node upgrades together with equipment perks. There is no fixed rule to maximize every core node first: address gaps in defense, movement, or recovery. In co-op, also check how your choices overlap with teammates’ roles.

⚡ Hybrid Build Examples

Ranger × Wizard: “Arcane Archer”

A ranged example that switches between a bow and staff spells. Check bow sightlines and safe casting windows, and track arrows, spell charges, and mana separately. Choose a main attack before spreading points across both styles. Combining branches does not automatically enchant arrows.

Warrior × Barbarian: “Berserk Vanguard”

A melee example that separates shield-and-one-handed combat from two-handed attacks. Practice transitions among blocking, parrying, and heavy attacks, paying attention to recovery windows. Agree on front-line and damage roles in co-op. Check any health-dependent effects in the current node descriptions.

Healer × Wizard: “Battle Healer”

A magic example that keeps recovery options alongside available attack spells. Leave an escape route in the back line so you can stop attacking when healing is needed, and read current spell effects and costs. Decide in advance when to switch between attacking and recovery.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Which style should a beginner try?

A. This page suggests trying a bow-oriented style because it offers distance. Prepare arrows and an escape route for close enemies, and watch the Shroud timer. If bows feel awkward, try another option such as a one-handed weapon and shield. These are skill-tree directions, not an irreversible class choice at the start.

Q2. Are hybrid builds useful?

A. Different branches and weapons can be combined. That does not automatically add a magical element to arrows, and there is no level-15 requirement given here. Choose the weapons or spells you want to use, then inspect their paths and point costs in the current skill tree.

Q3. Can skills be reset?

A. Resets are possible. Since Pact of the Flame, individual nodes can also be reset in the skill tree. Check the requirements and refunded points in the current screen before confirming; use the conditions shown in the UI. After an update, review your equipment as well as the revised tree.
