100% collection, Second Run, within 25 lives and no snake kills can cause detours when pursued together. Learn the map/item uses in normal mode first, then finish mode-specific achievements in their own mode.
Conditions for all 27 Steam achievements
Unlock rates and completion times are not manually listed. Names are English identifiers; the conditions and notes translate the independently written Japanese explanations. Excludes PlayStation-only platinum.

Distinguish normal mode, Second Run, and Mary's Mode
Second Run changes the locations in the normal collection tables. With a 40-second limit and one starting heart, prioritize essential items, homes, and reaching the toilet.

A short route to finish Second Run
You do not need to repeat every optional normal-mode collectible. Since you have Broken Sword, head for the toilet once you have secured factory credentials and the route there.
- Get the crabs, Coffee, and the lighthouse's Flashlight within the 40-second window.
- Start from Caravan and rescue the person in the desert with Watering Can.
- Defeat the two enemies at the oasis and collect Sword Thrower.
- Get Gardening Glove from the changed cave, then return to the starting house.
- Defeat the archer across the water to get Press Pass, then establish a home on the Hotel's upper floor.
- Go around through the mine and activate the bridge's middle switch.
- Use your factory credentials and take Broken Sword to the toilet. Check for ANOTHER MINIT.
The 25-life and no-snake-killing conditions
MINIMALIST requires finishing within 25 lives. Read the route while paused, when the timer stops, and decide your goal and path before moving to reduce timeouts spent reading.
PACIFIST, SORT OF requires finishing without killing snakes. Watch for accidental attacks while cutting grass, and avoid charging sword throws carelessly in front of snakes. Crabs and necessary bosses are separate from this restriction.
Mary's Mode is a separate mode without a time limit, available after finishing at 100%. It does not substitute for ANOTHER MINIT. This guide does not make a definite claim about version differences in damage invulnerability.
If startup or the timer seems wrong
If something abnormal happens, such as the normal 60 seconds passing far too quickly, first check pause, the mode name, and frame-rate settings. In high-refresh-rate environments, possible individual tests include a 60 fps cap or windowed mode.
For startup problems involving saves, back up existing saves elsewhere before investigating, rather than first deleting files or overwriting Cloud data. This guide does not present an unverified settings-value repair as a universal fix.
