Check the full release and guide scope
Full release 1.0 launched October 13, 2026, making the Campaign story completable. These guides also stopped counting old Early Access speculation as implemented content. First use the process below to distinguish mode, deck and encounter requests. Fixed ten-room regional layouts and unverified boss orders are not used.
Before starting: decide mode and goal
- Distinguish Campaign for story and lasting growth from Banquet for a run-specific challenge.
- Check Vanilla/Spicy difficulty and enabled additional modifiers.
- Choose one goal for this attempt, such as a new region, trying a dish or advancing a request.
- Check which tastes your starting dishes connect from and into.
Before departure: examine chains rather than individual cards
- Review your dishes by taste and Craving.
- Check the balance between cards starting chains and those connecting onward.
- When seasoning, read the resulting taste and ability.
- Check what activates Cookware or familiar effects.
- Before spending ingredients, check unlocked recipes and required quantities on the cooking screen.
In encounters: read requests, preferences and actions
- Check the Horror's current Craving.
- Among dishes with known preferences, find candidates connecting from your hand.
- Check the taste needed after serving the dish and your remaining stamina.
- Consider responding to approach and abilities, rather than following chains alone.
- If disadvantaged, consider options beyond dishes too; do not insist on unverified fixed matchups.
After returning: review growth and dishes
In Campaign, carry unlocks and growth into the next attempt. Read the cookbook/skill-tree descriptions involving Taliesin and choose improvements for your current difficulty. As well as adding dishes, check tastes where chains stalled and situations with insufficient stamina. What remains after failure varies by mode and settings; do not assume everything carries over.
Retrying with changed settings
Scroll horizontally to read wide tables.
| Change | What to check |
|---|---|
| Spicy | Reread resource/progression conditions differing from normal |
| Culinary | Read conditions changing how dishes work |
| Gourmet | Check whether the opponent's preferences are visible |
| Banquet | Build without assuming Campaign carryover |

Finale and incomplete checks
Version 1.0 adds Megaliths and the story ending. The old treatment of five regions ending at Misty Loch has been corrected. Specific final door conditions, every request, all dish unlocks and procedures for every achievement remain unchecked. Confirming totals does not mean individual completion steps are all covered.
