Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together(Super Famicom)
Routes and deadlines
Choose L/C at the end of Chapter 1 and N at the end of Chapter 2C. The original has no WORLD feature for returning to another route, so preserve normal saves before branches.
Scope: Original Japanese Super Famicom version (released 1995-10-06). Based on analysis of the later ver. 1.2; guides for the PSP remake Let Us Cling Together and Reborn are outside the scope. Checked 2026-10-02. / Content checked: October 2, 2026
Chapter 1 Balmamusa: L/C
| Decision | On-screen choice | Next chapter |
|---|---|---|
| Accept the order | ...I understand | Chapter 2L → Chapter 3L |
| Oppose the order | Stop this madness! | Chapter 2C → Choose N/C at the chapter's end |
- Story-route L/N/C is separate from unit alignment, despite using the same letters. N and C units can be used in an L story.
Chapter 2C Almorica: N/C
| Decision | On-screen choice | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Reconcile with Leonard | This is certainly no time to fight | Chapter 3N. Aloser leaves. |
| Refuse reconciliation | I absolutely cannot do that | Chapter 3C. Aloser can remain in use. |
- Raising Aloser's loyalty beforehand cannot prevent her departure on N. Do not apply Reborn workarounds to the original.
Order for L recruitment
- Rescue Zapan at Qadriga in Chapter 2. Even if refusing his recruitment in Chapter 2, succeed in the rescue itself.
- Accept Junoun at Brigantes in Chapter 3 and trigger his conversation with Guacharo inside Coritani Castle.
- Welcome Vice's group at Almorica and Haborym at Rime in Chapter 3. Carry Junoun's prerequisites forward for Oxyones in Chapter 4.
Order for connecting C rescues
- Save Sisteena at Rime in Chapter 1, then connect this to Byan's rescue and the Damsa Fortress request in Chapter 2C.
- Keep all 3 alive and request their company at Boed Fortress. Refusing reconciliation at the end of Chapter 2 also keeps Aloser.
- In Chapter 3C, recruit Haborym on the 2nd Bahanna visit, then Selye at Boed Fortress after Rime. If seeking the four sisters' temples, save Sherry within Chapter 4's deadline too.
Decide N detours in advance
- Before choosing reconciliation in Chapter 2C, plan for Aloser to leave and train another archer such as Sara or Canopus.
- After Boed Fortress in Chapter 3, decide whether to visit Krysaro before Ashton. Haborym's Qadriga rescue and later Golyat rescue are separate paths.
- Protect the 2 of Orias and Debordes at the port of Ashton. Save Selye at Boed Fortress and follow the pirate report in Chapter 4.
Kachua: Distinguish original dialogue from later editions
The temple answer affects whether she appears as an enemy at Barnicia Castle and which later answers are correct. This shows the combination for refusing to fight your sister.
- Tell Moruba you refuse to fight your sister. Kachua then appears as an enemy inside Barnicia Castle; drive Tartaros away without defeating her.
- In the castle conversation, choose “I did leave you behind,” followed by “I love you, sister!”
- Do not use these 2 answers unchanged on the path where you accepted fighting at the temple. A full answer set for that path lacks sufficient cross-checking against independent original-version references, so it remains pending here.
- An original PlayStation playthrough record also confirms the above combination for rescuing Kachua when she appears as an enemy. PSP/Reborn changed the answers for the other path.
Events affected by postponement
| Target | Prerequisite to preserve | Check before proceeding |
|---|---|---|
| Sisteena | Chapter 1 Rime rescue | Connect Byan's Chapter 2C request with all 3 surviving. |
| Haborym, N | Visit Krysaro after Boed Fortress | Decide between going to the port of Ashton first and choosing the fortress rescue. |
| Sherry | Reduce her to HP 1–20 at the temple and let her escape | Olivia alive, heavy rain, after the princess's whereabouts event and before clearing Barnicia. |
| Oxyones | Junoun's L recruitment and Chapter 3 conversation | Deploy Junoun in Chapter 4's Belmoruse random battle. |
| Lord | Kachua's death is involved | Do not plan to obtain it alongside rescuing Kachua. |
| Shopping at Deneb's | Obtain needed items before recruitment | Deneb's shop stops appearing when she joins. |
| Final consecutive battles | A save outside the Hanging Gardens | Entering the gardens prevents a return to the regional map. |
Do not rank L/C/N by their endings
Every Chapter 3 route converges in Chapter 4. Kachua's survival and ethnic-group support affect the ending; the L/C/N letter alone does not define a strongest route or a ranking of true endings.
- References differ on exact support thresholds, so these are excluded from the confirmed tables. The original has no procedure for returning to the past with WORLD to collect every branch.
