ABOUT

What is Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together?

The original Super Famicom tactical RPG depicts the conflict in the Valerian Isles. Denim's decisions lead to the L, C, or N route. Find the steps for rescuing and recruiting allies before their deadlines, changing classes through stat requirements, and using WT and terrain in battle.

ℹ️ Information organized from reference material

Scope: Original Japanese Super Famicom version (released 1995-10-06). Based on analysis of the later ver. 1.2; guides for the PSP remake Let Us Cling Together and Reborn are outside the scope. Checked 2026-10-02. / Content checked: October 2, 2026

Where to start

  1. On your first playthrough, read Chapter 1's progression and prepare Canopus for rescues and Presance for healing and exorcism.
  2. Before entering Balmamusa, check the route decision and differences in available allies, and keep a normal save in a separate slot.
  3. Rescues from Chapter 2 onward depend on conditions in earlier chapters. Check the recruitment guide's deadlines before proceeding to the next town or castle.

Keep records of branches and rescues

Use the SFC original's 2 normal save slots for separate purposes, such as before a branch and during progression. A suspend save is a temporary record for returning to battle and disappears when resumed.

FAQ

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together FAQ

Q1 Can N be chosen from the start? ▼
A

Follow C at Chapter 1's end, then choose reconciliation with Leonard at Chapter 2C's Almorica. There is no option to go directly to N from Balmamusa in Chapter 1.

Q2 Can Aloser stay on N? ▼
A

In the original SFC version, she always leaves when N is chosen at Chapter 2's end. Do not treat prior loyalty increases as the same workaround used in later editions.

Q3 Can WORLD be used in the original? ▼
A

The SFC original has no WORLD. Keep normal saves before decisions if you want to see other branches.
