Marvelous: Mou Hitotsu no Takarajima (Super Famicom)
Boss/enemy weaknesses and positioning the 3 boys
Check the order for using the Ball, punches, Salt-Water Spray and Buster Cannon, along with where to leave boys who are not attacking.
Scope: Japanese Super Famicom version (released October 26, 1996) / Content checked: October 2, 2026
Chapter 2, Manmart: use its movement toward the leader
- Leave the boys other than Dion far away at the edges and create a position from which he can attack with the Ball.
- Do not get too close to the boy being chased. Switch leaders and give Dion a clear line of fire as the enemy turns.
- Repeat attacks and retreats until each opponent is defeated. Check whether the enemy has left rather than relying on a fixed throw count.
Chapter 3, plant dog: use the Ball when it stops
- Circle the room to gain distance rather than continually throwing while chasing the running dog.
- Hit with Dion's Ball when it stops with a question mark. Wait somewhere you will not touch the tree above either.
- When it becomes a plant, keep attacking with the Ball while avoiding that form's attacks. Do not mistake the transformation for victory.
Chapter 3, parasitic plant: spray before punching
- Move unused Dion away from the fight, and position Jack and Max where they can attack easily.
- Weaken the enemy with Jack's Salt-Water Spray, switch to Max and use the Punch Gloves. Do not keep punching alone; start again with the Spray.
- If spores attach to you, move the directional buttons to shake them off, then get away from incoming damage before the next switch.
Chapter 3, parasitic tree: change items by form
- Start with Dion's Ball. Aim according to where the face appears. When targeting the middle, dodge projectiles from both sides and wait for the next face.
- Use Max's punches in the moving-root form. Follow the root that does not fire projectiles underground and punch when it surfaces. If you lose track, locate it with Search.
- Heal with Tomatoes before the final form. Avoid the suction and harden the projectiles it spits out with Jack's Spray.
- Kick the hardened projectiles into the main body as Max. Keep track of their positions while switching boys; do not keep attacking that form only with the ordinary Ball.
Chapter 4, clockwork robots: expose their backs
- Use Max or Jack as a decoy to either side. Approach within iron-ball-swing range to fix the robot's facing.
- During its attack opening, switch to Dion and hit the wind-up mechanism on its back from the opposite side with the Ball.
- After it stops, cooperate to move it sideways. Defeating it alone leaves the hole blocked; clear the passage before descending.
Chapter 4, queen ant: enter aiming through Search
- Rescue Hazan with Soldier Blue and receive the Buster Cannon before challenging it.
- When movement inputs reverse, avoid running into walls or fallen rocks. Search the queen when it comes low to enter the attack screen.
- Watch the face's aiming cursor and fire the Buster Cannon at a part. Check changes to that part before moving your aim; recharge energy if you miss.
- Heal when Tomatoes drop. Sources disagree on the precise order for hitting antennae and eyes, so guidance prioritizes the screen's response.
