01 | The key and whistle in Abandoned

Take the left branch first. For the no-wrench achievement, leave the early pile of spare parts untouched.

  1. Return up the left route for the Rusted Key, then use it in the keyhole below.
  2. Get the Goldcrest Whistle from Pinion and deposit spare parts at a perch.

02 | Unlock wall climbing

Past Trash Magnet, obtain Electro-Magnetism. This is wall climbing, not double jumping.

  1. Climb up and check the two disruptors.
  2. Use wall climbing to reach Tyre Girl and collect the Capsule Fragment.

03 | Pass briefly through Last Bunker

On the first visit, get Rusty's repair-point markers, then leave through the upper-right route to Central Core.

  1. Do not force a jump to the left; use the upper-right passage.
  2. Keep moving over the trap floor and head for the lower-right exit.

04 | Mainframe and Boss Battery

Mainframe Vault is a later destination. Distinguish the lower-right repair point, upper-right disruptor and lower-left progression route.

  1. Meet Quatern, deliver Power Cells and find Splunk for the first time.
  2. Defeat Boss Battery for Electric Orbs, then collect the eastern Power Cell and open the shortcut.

05 | The clock, train and Steam Town

Repair the clock in Pinion for 1 spare part to use the train. Check that each station is unlocked, rather than merely passing it.

  1. Check Mischievous and the Power Cell below-right of the disruptor, plus the Capsule Fragment above the clock.
  2. Rescue all the children in Steam Town, then speak to the parent again for Quick Repair.

06 | Ball transformation in Factory

Progress while opening floors with Mundo's elevator. After Power Saw, Body Modifier lets you enter small gaps.

  1. Check the Power Cell, the two door switches and the two disruptors.
  2. Return in ball form for the northeastern Capsule Fragment and uppermost floor; check Extractor and the station.

07 | Heat protection, waterproofing and light

Pass through the small gap in Central Core and buy both treatments for 200 each. The pair costs 400; one treatment does not protect against the other area's hazard.

  1. Check the scene at Splunk's house.
  2. Destroy Bulbhive to obtain Bulblet.

08 | Reach another part of Core through the ducts

Enter Water Ducts after obtaining Sealant Treatment. This does not make you immune to electrified water or enemies.

  1. Collect Coolant Soluble in the northwest and Sawblade to the right of the first repair point.
  2. Use the lower-left exit to reach an unexplored part of Central Core.

09 | Power Bomb and Electron

Obtain Power Bomb beyond the laser area. Bomb-assisted height in ball form also helps you reach new openings.

  1. Break the floor and ceiling to collect the Electric Key.
  2. Prepare at the repair point, then defeat Electron.

10 | Double jump and duct cleanup

Pass the duct station, disruptor and first coolant before reaching Diving Helmet Crawlers.

  1. Obtain Jump Booster after the boss.
  2. Check the hidden upper entrance, Auto Modifier, Elder's Power Cell, the electrified-water Power Cell and the blue socket.

11 | Return to Core for the Hook

Use double jump and ball form to reach String and Hook through the openings in Core.

  1. Open Central Core station via the additional passage below the acquisition room.
  2. Open up safer routes across high platforms and walls.

12 | Use the Hook for the duct Capsule Fragment

Return to Water's large entrance room and take the previously unreachable upper-right route.

  1. Alternate double jumps and Hook use to cross the electrified water.
  2. Collect Capsule Fragment H10, then head west from the repair point south of Core.

13 | The hot area and return route

Heat Treatment permits entry to Incinerator, but overheating and lava remain separate hazards.

  1. Check the two Power Cells and northern disruptor.
  2. Use the western lever to open the shortcut to Abandoned.

14 | Open the first station

When returning to Abandoned, also check Sonnet's original room.

  1. Activate the passage switch.
  2. Unlock the first station before returning to Central Core.

15 | The Hook Power Cell and Echo

Use double jump and the Hook to follow the ceiling of the electrified room and reach the Power Cell.

  1. Return to safety through the hole in the floor on the left.
  2. Open Echo's western shop with the Electric Key and check its three Bomb chips.

16 | From the ball-speed chip into darkness

Check Gyro-Accelerator in the small opening below Incinerator.

  1. Take the route from Abandoned to the lower elevator.
  2. Confirm that you have Bulblet before descending into Sunken.

17 | Sunken's ceiling and the ruins entrance

Climb the dark large room's right wall to find the hidden route to Bulb Relation.

  1. Check the repair point and the disruptor below it.
  2. Use the left exit to enter Forgotten Ruins.

18 | The passage to Research Lab

On your first ruins visit, descend on the left and head toward Research Lab.

  1. Also check the hidden spare parts in the upper-right wall.
  2. Take the open passage on the left into the lab.

19|Space Disruptor

Meet Verse in the lab and obtain Space Disruptor. Ordinary dodging and teleporting through walls are different abilities.

  1. Teleport back through the closed door and activate the ceiling switch.
  2. Collect the coolant beyond the right wall, then enter Sunken from the west.

20 | The key, village and Trash Worm

Visit the Rusted Key, Amplifying Transputer and Derelict Hole in western Sunken.

  1. Check the station behind the village and the ball-form entrance near Splunk.
  2. Climb the route opened by the awakened drill to Trash Worm. Collect the Power Cell, egg and Capsule Fragment.

21 | The Core fragment after teleporting

Pass through the northeastern wall in Central Core to reach the Capsule Fragment.

  1. Use Space Disruptor to cross the wall.
  2. Return to Factory from the northeast.

22 | Factory cleanup and the surveillance boss

With the Hook and teleport ability, revisit the route on the right of the first floor and the southeastern area.

  1. Check the Power Cell, Auto Repair and the Power Cell in the hidden connecting passage.
  2. Defeat Surveillance Bot in the northwest, collect the Power Cell and head to the furnace east of the top floor.

23 | Proton and the red socket

In Blazing Furnace, watch falling lava and the heat gauge. Heat treatment alone does not make contact with lava safe.

  1. Collect the Power Cell below-right of the entrance, the disruptor beyond the Hook section and the eastern red socket.
  2. Defeat Proton and collect the coolant on the left.

24 | The Bunker key, TV and Neutron

Check R.O.H.9000's freezer, the piano tape, Heat Drive and the station as you head north.

  1. Use Bomb-assisted height in the ball passage to reach TV Boss. Check the Capsule Fragment beyond it and Monitor Room.
  2. Check the moving-floor Power Cell, northwestern disruptor and basket, then defeat Neutron.

25 | Reaper and Catacombs

In Ruined Surface, check the far-right Power Cell, central shop and hidden teleport entrance on the left.

  1. Buy the red and green skulls, open the lower-left part of the graveyard and collect Power Processor.
  2. Read the messages on every gravestone.

26 | Continue after the normal ending

Check that Mainframe Vault is open before facing Virus. Reload the same save after clearing it.

  1. Defeat Virus and watch the normal credits.
  2. Find Limerick in Core and resume the additional progression.

27 | The ruins' characters and station

Teleport through the western wall to visit Space Disturbance, the station, Melody and Lune.

  1. Give the piano tape to Melody. Listen to all of Lune's poems.
  2. Give Splunk 6 spare parts and check the disruptors behind thin walls and hidden ceilings.

28 | The duct Power Cell reached from the ruins

Enter the drainage pipe from the water room on the Forgotten side to collect the Water Power Cell.

  1. Collect P24 through the pipe on the ruins side.
  2. Use the lever to open the return route, then return to the ruins.

29 | The key battle at First Tree

Check Magnetic Footing and the Power Cell below it east of the ruins. Head for the keyhole below-left of the station.

  1. Use a Rusted Key to activate Rusty Key Door and finish the battle.
  2. Collect First Tree's green socket, visit the character high in the tree and collect the Capsule Fragment at its upper-right.

30 | Finish rewards and the family quest

Complete Quatern's Power Cell conversations and rewards. Collecting Capsule Fragments alone does not maximize health.

  1. Check Splunk's fifth encounter and reward.
  2. Use 12 Capsule Fragments at Rondel for 4 upgrades, then visit Lune to see the reunion.

31 | The main game's final battle

Use the eastern door below First Tree. Verse's event opens it after Virus is defeated.

  1. Examine the terminal and defeat the Three Creators.
  2. On a no-wrench run, confirm the main-game completion before returning to shop.

32 | Before entering the old area

After the main game, speak to Rusty in Core again to obtain Power Cell markers.

  2. Head for Old Arcadia through the western door in the large room left of the Last Bunker entrance.
