What is Final Fantasy VI?
An RPG released for the Super Famicom on April 2, 1994. Follow Tina and her companions from the journey before the world's ruin to reuniting the party afterward. Check magic learning and growth through magicite, the 14 characters' unique commands, and time-sensitive acquisitions.

Covered edition and boundaries of added content
This text covers the Japanese Super Famicom release of April 2, 1994. Japanese names such as Tina, Cayenne and Stragos are kept distinct from English-localization names such as Terra and Cyan.

- 27 magicite names does not mean you can hold 27 at once. Odin transforms into Raiden, and Ragnarok involves a choice between magicite and sword.
- This guide does not cover every chest location, every Rage acquisition or every stealable item. Check the targets and conditions listed in its tables.
Saves to keep before progressing
- Keep separate saves before answering at the Returners' Hideout, rescuing Mog in Narshe, entering the Floating Continent, transforming the magicite in the Ancient Castle, and choosing at Narshe's weapon shop.
- After acquiring magicite, equip it on each character. Check magicite, formation and armor for new or returning party members.
- In areas explored by multiple parties, distribute healing, revival and MP recovery among the groups as well as attackers.
