E.V.O.: Search for Eden (Super Famicom)

Evolution costs and crystals

Lists 126 entries with costs that agree between Japanese and overseas sources. Parts with conflicting costs and unverified stats remain on hold, letting you plan by part and EVO.P.

Scope: Japanese Super Famicom version (released December 21, 1992) / Content checked: October 2, 2026

Fish: 23 cost entries

Use jaws for biting and fins, dorsal fins and tails to prepare your movement. A swordfish horn restricts your jaw choices.

Amphibians: 28 cost entries

For jumping, prepare the tail and dorsal fin; for biting, prepare the jaws. The back-of-head options have different roles even when each costs 300.

Planning the order of evolution purchases

  1. The early fish jaws cost 200, and the next cost 800. Check jaws first if your bite reaches enemies; check fins or tails first if you cannot catch them.
  2. For amphibians, a power tail at 100 and remnant shark dorsal fin at 200 prepare you to jump. Both cost 300 in total; reserve additional points for healing.
  3. The human prerequisites total 5700: cat jaws at 200 + rabbit body at 500 + Ramapithecus at 5000. Further evolution costs are separate, so do not calculate that this amount completes the form.
