Japanese Super Famicom version

Der Langrisser Class choices and development paths

Check major class paths for the protagonist, Hein, and others, and choose branches from the desired destination. An encyclopedia covering everyone's classes and stat growth remains incomplete.

Scope: Japanese Super Famicom version (1995) / References checked: 2026-10-15. No gameplay verification performed. A complete guide including every map and all enemy data remains under further cross-checking.

Check the next branch from the current class

Show conditions and data
  1. Some table rows begin at intermediate classes. The protagonist's initial class changes through character creation; do not assume everyone begins from the same initial class.
  2. Before choosing at Lv10, check that the branch reaches the desired final class. The same stage-4 class name does not guarantee the same final class for every character.
  3. Do not make retraining through Rune Stones and similar items mandatory for normal progression. First combine mercenaries and magic available to the current class.

Account for healer departures and recruitment in development

Show conditions and data
  1. On Light, do not concentrate all healing on Liana; check spells learned by the protagonist and other casters too.
  2. When entering the Empire or Independent Army, choose classes without assuming Light-side allies remain with you.
  3. If aiming for Teleport or similar spells, check the character's learned magic and MP as well as class names. Do not base battle instructions on unavailable magic.

Check development opportunities before defeating commanders

Show conditions and data

When troops can be defeated safely, give attacks to units you want to develop. However, enemies disappearing with their commander grant no experience; choose the defeat order according to the chapter's risks.
