The ending below and the continuation above

After the Chapter 4 event, going down leads to the ending associated with What’s important is seeing this through to the end. Returning upward continues to Major Song and Chapter 5.

For the Legend completion achievement, finish the entire main-story continuation route. Do not count only Chapter 4's alternate ending as Legend completion.

Memory data: 9 checked landmarks

These landmarks help you inspect data on the main route in the first memory area. Numbers indicate this guide's reading order, not an asserted official total or in-game numbering. After each point, reassess the next disappearing-platform cycle.

The final 4 regions require different solutions from earlier chapters

Charged Dash becomes instant once the revisits begin, allowing quick handling of normal enemies. This does not mean defeating the pursuing Writ or Overseer as ordinary enemies.

Revisited regionDifference from beforeResponse
1Stopped platforms and Writ's renewed chaseActivate platforms by attacking, and handle enemies and doors quickly
2Slow on contact; fast when attackedUse slow movement when going around via another wall to meet it

Checking memories and completing the main game

The unfolding truth corresponds to the first area where memories are revealed. Reading data as you pass also helps you confirm how far you have progressed.

This table guides you through 9 landmarks whose explanations were read; it is not a verified archive of every data entry's official name, full text, or official total. After the final 4 regions, check Farewell and the ending.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Q1 Does choosing the lower ending prevent Chapter 5? ▼
A

That branch ends the game once. To reach Chapter 5, replay the branch and take the main-story continuation route returning upward.

Q2 I fell inside a disappearing platform in the final chapter ▼
A

Solid surfaces have collision on the outside. Grab the next external anchor instead of waiting inside for it to solidify.
