What is MOTHER 2: Giygas Strikes Back?
An SFC RPG set in towns resembling the modern world. Ness, Paula, Jeff and Poo collect the sounds of eight Your Sanctuary locations and challenge Giygas. Check the Japanese version's event procedures, PSI, equipment and goods.

Give the four characters separate roles

Checks before you lose access
- If you want the sword dropped by an enemy in Stonehenge Base, obtain it before defeating the base's boss.
- Before the eighth sound, check Ness's badge, armor, and HP/PP supplies.
- Before boarding the final Space Tunnel, distribute Paula's armor, revival items and PP recovery items, and save a record.
Version covered and references
Release information was checked against Nintendo's SFC material; progression, equipment and goods were compared with the corresponding sections of independent guides for the Japanese version. English-version place names and GBA-only changes are not mixed into the main walkthrough.
