Do not declare one of the four universally best

The relative performance of Cinder, Lisver, Mango and Nera depends on unlocks, starting choices, difficulty and acquired dice. Universal S–C rankings and win rates are unverified. Sticking with one character teaches its starting setup; trying another teaches different rules. Each approach has a purpose. Read the starting relic again when switching.

Situations that change an effect’s value

Situations that change an effect’s value:5 entries
SituationDecision
Short normal fightsCan it provide needed output immediately rather than only after scaling?
Long boss fightsCan it sustain its role rather than relying only on consumable effects?
Several enemiesDo effects based on target count or enemies damaged have a useful trigger?
Single enemyWill an effect depending on repeated kills stop working?
Additional challengeDoes it prohibit a board effect you would normally use?

Order of checks when choosing a reward

  1. Choose one role likely to be missing in the next fight.
  2. Separate the candidate’s effect into roll, target position, cost and properties.
  3. Picture the board when using it with your current dice.
  4. If placement, draw or defense remains unresolved, do not rely too heavily on finding a partner later.

Do not add unverified rankings

Grow and Draw depend on difficulty and build. No combination guarantees victory and no character is assumed to be the only viable option; read each role in context. Every effect and condition for all dice and relics has not been checked. A selection is not a complete comparison, and descriptions that do not match the game are not filled out through guesswork.

Frequently asked questions

Should I always take an S-tier option?

Compatibility with the current board, energy and starting relic comes first. This page does not present unverified rankings as a definitive table.

Does adding defense make a build reliable?

Needed defense matters, but losing access to damage prolongs combat. Check that the build can use both together.
