Four checks before ending a turn

  1. Read the actions of enemies left alive.
  2. Check final damage and defense values.
  3. Look for wasted target range or placement order.
  4. Check relics that respond to remaining energy.

Separate drawing problems from placement problems

If the needed die is missing from the hand, review deck and draw. If it is in hand but unusable, review energy and board space. Answering both problems by adding stronger dice can make your main die even harder to use. Whether removal, upgrades or a new die helps depends on the run’s actual problem. Do not remove necessary defense just to reduce deck size.

Read Parry as a turn-based effect

Parry in 1.0 involves the value remaining after enemy attacks and its interaction with block and damage. It is not an action-game button press at the moment of impact. After taking an effect that converts block to Parry, inspect its behavior after turn end and the next enemy attack instead of calculating it exactly like ordinary block.

Do not chase every achievement and challenge in one run

Some extra challenges demand an early kill; others forbid killing before a specified turn. Ignoring the conditions can fail the objective even when the normal run succeeds. If the current build does not fit, leave the objective for another run. Do not rush based on fixed win-rate or completion-time claims; choose one condition to prepare for next time.

Frequently asked questions

Is there an absolute recommended deck for each character?

Build roles around the current starting relic, dice and board. A character’s name alone does not determine one finished deck.

Is 59 the correct achievement count?

The public Steam list checked on October 16, 2026 contains 59 entries. This is not a count created by filling hidden descriptions with guessed conditions.
