Collection check before finishing the Ice Castle

  1. Secure the Fire Sword and Stop first, as both are used for progression.
  2. Check the Spike Boots, Heavy Maul, Heavy Blow, equipment chests and Jades available in town before entering the boss room.
  3. Do not leave only a checklist for later on the assumption that you can return to the same chests after finishing the castle.

If you get lost in Platinum's darkness

  1. Instead of relying only on the light fairy to see walls, cast Ghost and check the spaces its light passes through.
  2. Follow the walls and remember your way back using visible enemies and door positions as landmarks.
  3. Return and Warp Gates do not work in this section, so reach a safe statue before saving.
  4. Receive Feather on 4F, then use it on 2F. Do not keep searching the lower floors without first obtaining what you need to cross holes.

Items needing further verification

  • Cross-checking is ongoing for confirmed Japanese-version weapon attack and armor defense values, all enemy resistances, conditions and prizes for every arena match, and the locations of all Hearts and Jades.
  • Boss-name variants and each form's HP remain on hold; differently named references are not added as separate bosses.
  • Unnamed equipment that appears only in modified saves is not included in the normal collection list.
