A Short Hike summit guide: feathers, hot springs, descent and sleeping

On the snowy mountain, spent feathers do not recover on ordinary ground. Divide the climb using hot springs and platforms.
From home to the hiking trail
Leave Aunt May's house, follow the coast and obtain the compass. Ranger Jon at the center sells two feathers for 40 coins each.
- Find coins and chests around the center and secure the purchasable feathers.
- Take Hawk Peak Trail from the northern signpost. Flap after jumping and climb, restoring feathers on level ground.
- Visit the blue bird's stall. Track the four feather purchases separately from tuition payment.
When stuck on the snowy mountain
No universal minimum of seven feathers is asserted. Requirements vary with route, flowers and silver feathers.

Photo after the summit and returning home
After the summit event, tell the fox along the route about reaching it, lend feathers and meet again at the top. Avery's summit race also starts at the center after your first ascent.
Finally return home, speak to Aunt May and choose to sleep inside. Completing collection and performing the story-ending action are separate.
