Requirements for Ordinary Traveler Unlocks

The table matches current achievement requirements to Travelers. Entries are ordered by what you must do, not achievement rarity. Values were checked on October 12, 2026.

TravelerCorresponding achievementCurrent requirementApproach
YubarPure ImaginationAcquire a cumulative total of 450 Dream DustCheck lifetime acquisition separately from well costs
AurenaHorns, Feathers, and GoldRestore a cumulative total of 25,000 health to yourself or alliesUse healing abilities and check cumulative progress
NachiaThe True Ruler of the ForestDefeat Demon of the Forest 12 timesCheck cumulative kills rather than assuming 12 in one adventure
VesperBoundless RageReach the Fragment of the Starry SkyCheck the current map name as you progress
BismuthOnce Upon a TimeMaintain movement speed above 900 for 3 secondsCheck movement-speed abilities and the displayed value
CetusLeviathan on LandDig up 8 snow piles in the snowy mountainsLook for interactable snow there and check progress

The old 20-kill Nachia condition differs from the current official requirement and is not used. Vesper is based on reaching the location, without adding a boss-kill condition. Shell's hidden procedure is outside this table.

Choose One Objective Before Departing

Cumulative goals can progress during ordinary adventures, but maintaining movement speed or reaching a particular location requires preparation. Choose a condition suited to your current Traveler and found abilities rather than pursuing everything at once.

  1. Read the desired Traveler's current requirement in-game.
  2. Classify it as cumulative, location-specific, or a temporary state.
  3. Check progress before departure.
  4. If you find a relevant ability, decide whether it can help without breaking your main setup.
  5. After returning, check progress and plan the next attempt.

Spend Stardust on Your Current Problem

For progression between adventures, check the shared Life, Destruction, and Imagination paths alongside Traveler-specific growth. Some upgrades concern defense or resources rather than attacks.

After purchasing or upgrading, confirm it is equipped in the required node. Distinguish owning an upgrade from its effect being included in your selected setup.

Treat The Way of Stars as Traveler-Specific Progress

In v1.4, Traveler Mastery expanded into The Way of Stars. Progressing with a Traveler connects episodes and relates to rewards such as illustrations, exclusive Emotes, and Souvenirs.

Do not treat ordinary Traveler unlocks, shared Stardust progression, and The Way of Stars as one system. Check which Traveler you are progressing and work through displayed objectives individually.

Solutions for the new ending and complete procedures for special rewards are not included.

When Progress Does Not Advance Despite Seemingly Meeting Conditions

Appearance or feel alone does not establish success. Check current requirements, cumulative versus single-instance objectives, how long a value was maintained, the active Traveler, and other conditions in order.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Q1 Does Nachia require defeating the forest enemy 20 times? ▼
A

The current official Steam achievement requires defeating Demon of the Forest 12 times. This guide does not use the old 20-kill requirement.

Q2 Does Bismuth's 900 mean at least 900? ▼
A

The current English achievement says above 900, so the requirement is treated as maintaining a value greater than 900 for 3 seconds. Also check the current in-game movement-speed display.

Q3 Are Stardust and Dream Dust the same progression currency? ▼
A

Their roles differ. Stardust supports progression between adventures, while Dream Dust upgrades abilities at wells during an adventure.

Q4 Does this cover every Traveler and achievement? ▼
A

The scope is major ordinary unlock conditions and introductory progression. Shell's hidden procedure, every Memory/Essence unlock, late-game routes, and all achievement methods are excluded.
