Investigation After the First 9 People
At milestones when new evidence arrives, more avenues of research become available. These steps help you resume your investigation; they are not an answer table for the later game.
- Open all the new evidence and register portraits from its photographs.
- Note parent-child and sibling relationships between known people and new ones.
- Search new proper nouns in the text, including music, workplaces, and works as well as names.
- Use the appropriate tools for magazine articles, books, image restoration, and other leads.
- Fill the tree one branch at a time from firmly identified people instead of guessing several empty slots at once.
Full answers for all people in the later main case and the final investigation are not included.
Moving On to Roottreemania
The commercial edition includes another investigation after the main case. You do not need to purchase a separate paid expansion to start it.
- First finish the main case and submit the completed family tree.
- Select Roottreemania on the screen for starting a new game.
- Investigate a new family tree in the additional case. Note that names are selected in separate parts.
Every person and complete answers for the additional case are outside this walkthrough's scope.

Have I finished the game after filling in 9 people?
No. The first 9 people are an early milestone. Continue expanding the family tree with new sources and proceed to the final investigation.
