Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown — Time Power order and blocked-path checklist

The six Time Powers unlock new ways through Mount Qaf. They are different from Athra Surges, the combat moves selected at a Wak-Wak Tree. A closed route often needs a later traversal power; changing your equipped Surge will not provide a double jump or a grappling hook.

Progression checklist

Open solution / late-game details

Use the table as a progression checklist. The two middle objectives, Clairvoyance and Dimensional Claw, belong to the same stage of the journey. Do not treat their placement in this list as an obligatory order for every player.

PowerWhere to continueWhat to try after collecting it
Rush of the SimurghContinue past Jahandar in Lower City to collect the feather.Jump, then dash across an air gap. It also extends a wall-jump route.
Shadow of the SimurghFollow the Old Man's sequence in The Depths.Leave a shadow at a useful position, operate a mechanism, then return to the stored position.
ClairvoyanceComplete the four temporal trial rooms in Sacred Archives.Switch dimension when a special platform is absent; switch again when a solid object obstructs the route.
Dimensional ClawDefeat Kiana in Soma Tree and take the power.Capture an appropriate object, aim, then release it. Explosive objects can solve some blocked passages.
Gravity WingsAfter Azhdaha, summon Satevis with the first Celestial Arrow, then return to Azhdaha.Press jump again while airborne for a second jump. Defeating Azhdaha alone is not the complete pickup sequence.
Fabric of TimeFinish the later, second confrontation with Vahram.Use the sash on designed anchor points; it does not attach to arbitrary scenery.

Why the Chakram still will not get through a gate

Open solution / late-game details

The early Chakram of Menolias is a returning weapon. Its later upgrade, Chakram Shadow of the Simurgh, becomes available once Menolias has been defeated. The upgrade lets you teleport to the projectile. Having the original Chakram and ordinary Shadow power does not mean that this upgrade has already been unlocked.

At a suitable barred opening, aim the Chakram through the gap, release it, and use the assigned teleport/Shadow action while the projectile is on the other side. Pressing the throw button repeatedly is a different input. Follow your own platform's bindings rather than a controller-button label from another version.

Before trying the same jump again

Identify what the obstacle is asking for. A high ledge suggests Gravity Wings; a dimension-dependent platform suggests Clairvoyance. A grapple anchor points to Fabric of Time, while a narrow barred opening may require the later Chakram upgrade. These are useful clues, not a rule that every similar-looking wall has the same solution.

If the required power is already unlocked, check the action sequence: a Shadow must be placed before returning to it; Dimensional Claw needs a captured object before a release can do anything. Save an image or map marker for an unfinished route and return after the next story unlock. This guide covers the base campaign's progression, not DLC trials or a tested speedrun route.

Questions and answers

Are Time Powers the same as Athra Surges?

No. Time Powers provide traversal actions; Athra Surges are selected combat moves. Changing a Surge does not unlock a missing traversal power.
