Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Walkthrough: Nine Main Quests, Powers and Collectibles

The nine main-quest names define the chapters. This is a progression chart for checking the next objective, power or boss, rather than a tested shortest route through every room and collectible. Late-game chapters remain in closed sections.

Difficulty, platform and control preparation

The official update uses Rookie, Warrior, Hero and Immortal. Check custom options and platforming assistance in your own menu. One setting is not mandated for everyone with a particular experience level.

Compare portable play on Switch, your hardware and input settings on PC, and display/controller preferences on consoles such as PS5. We do not repeat unmeasured 30–40fps or fixed-PC-60fps claims. Check platform-specific buttons in your settings.

ChoiceWhat to check
Rookie / WarriorTest incoming damage and parry timing against early enemies.
Hero / ImmortalSeparate the reason for a harder preset from practice for a difficult action.
Custom and assistanceCheck combat settings and platforming assistance separately.

1. Lost in Mount Qaf: Arrival, Haven, bow and Jahandar

  1. Enter Mount Qaf through Old Royal Road and check recovery and equipment at a Wak-Wak Tree.
  2. Check shops and Artaban’s training in the Haven, then follow the bow objective in Hyrcanian Forest.
  3. After defeating Jahandar in Lower City, continue beyond the arena and collect the feather for Rush of the Simurgh.

2. The Abducted Prince: Pursuit and the Upper City story

  1. Use Rush’s added distance to follow the story’s pursuit of Prince Ghassan.
  2. Follow the Vahram encounter and transition, then check the changed story objective.
  3. Distinguish owning rewards such as Blade Dancer from equipping them. Reaching the Upper City does not grant every missing power.

3. The Tiger and the Rat: The Depths and Shadow

  1. Follow the Old Man in The Depths. If lost, recheck the objective and unconnected parts of the map.
  2. After obtaining Shadow of the Simurgh, practice placing a return point, moving away and returning in a safe area.
  3. Distinguish the Scrapper’s Xerxes purchases and Lost Key from ordinary crystal purchases; track detours separately.

4. The Path to the Sand Prison: Clairvoyance and Dimensional Claw

  1. Treat the four Sacred Archives time trials and Kiana at Soma Tree as two contemporary goals, without imposing a universal order.
  2. Read the recorded actions and mechanism timing in the Archives trials to obtain Clairvoyance. Toggle the dimension that makes a platform solid.
  3. Defeat Kiana and Chamrosh at Soma Tree, then obtain Dimensional Claw beyond them. Test capturing and releasing an explosive.
  4. Return to the two seals blocking entry to Pit of Eternal Sands and match the mechanisms to your powers.

5. The Darkest of Souls: Pit of Eternal Sands and Azhdaha

  1. After opening the seals, descend to the bottom of Pit of Eternal Sands. Check health and gear first because the descent leads into a battle.
  2. Avoid Azhdaha’s head, tail and beams; use Dimensional Claw on compatible projectiles.
  3. Do not assume the victory alone grants double jump; read the next Celestial Arrow objective.

6. The Celestial Guardians: Constellations, Gravity Wings, Orod and Menolias

  1. Summon Satevis with the first Celestial Arrow, then return to Azhdaha to receive Gravity Wings.
  2. Use double jump to reach the remaining Celestial Guardian objectives shown on the map.
  3. Read Orod’s broad weapon swings in Raging Sea, then check Bahamut’s Rage after victory.
  4. Separate arrow parries from dodges against Menolias in Upper City. Check Chakram teleportation and Rashnu’s Judgment individually afterward.
  5. Check the remaining constellations on the map and continue to the next story goal. Do not impose one universal order for Orod and Menolias.

7. Return to the Past: Vahram at the Observatory and Fabric of Time

Read the late-game route and solutions
  1. Follow the return sequence into the Observatory fight; your available powers differ from the early Vahram encounter.
  2. Read teleport and slash tells, separating defendable attacks from those to avoid.
  3. Use Fabric of Time on dedicated anchors after the battle and check the route toward Tower of Silence.

8. Father and Son: Tower of Silence and King Darius

Read the late-game route and solutions
  1. Traverse the tower’s anchors with Fabric of Time, checking hazardous platforms and recovery points.
  2. Read the floor changes from King Darius’s ice and fire, using anchors for safety and counterattacks.
  3. Collect the Key of Kings. Before the final story segment, check weapons, health, equipment and postponed detours.

9. The Crossroads of Time: The final Vahram battle and base-game ending

Read the late-game route and solutions
  1. Read the endgame warning before entering. Distinguish the temporary story lock from exploration after completion.
  2. Handle the projectile, sword and anchor sequences separately. Open the boss article’s final-phase section for details.
  3. After the ending, return to remaining quests and collectibles. Check collection goals separately from story progression.

Power acquisition checks: count bow and Chakram separately

The six rows below are Time Powers. The Bow of Menolias is an early weapon, while Chakram Shadow of the Simurgh adds a later teleport. Neither is renamed as one of the six. Clairvoyance and Dimensional Claw have no imposed universal order.

PowerAcquisition checkAction
Rush of the SimurghCollect the feather beyond Jahandar in Lower City.Air dash; it does not substitute for an unearned double jump.
Shadow of the SimurghFollow the Old Man sequence in The Depths.Place a shadow first, operate the mechanism, then return.
ClairvoyanceComplete the four time-based trial rooms in Sacred Archives.Toggle the dimension of special platforms and enemies.
Dimensional ClawDefeat Kiana at Soma Tree and collect the feather.Capture one target, aim and release it; use explosives to open walls.
Gravity WingsAfter Azhdaha, summon Satevis and return to Azhdaha.Jump again in midair; defeating the boss alone does not finish the acquisition.
Fabric of TimeFinish the later Vahram battle at the Observatory.Grapple dedicated anchors; it does not attach to arbitrary walls.

Seven collection categories and planning toward 100% completion

Seven equipment checks by progression stage

Optional collectionKing Jamshid / Ard’s FortuneDistinguish chest detection sounds from enemy currency rewards.

Late-game Hidden Village and optional detours

The Hidden Village route crosses east from Soma Tree with Fabric of Time and uses Dimensional Claw to bring explosives to walls. Record it as an optional base-game collection route.

  1. Head east from Soma Tree and cross the dedicated anchors with Fabric of Time.
  2. When you find a cracked wall, inspect the route above it.
  3. Capture an explosive ball with Dimensional Claw, then release it at the wall.
  4. Repeat for the next wall and continue toward the Hidden Village lighthouse.

Practicing and preparing for Immortal

  1. Check the preset and custom options before comparing incoming damage with someone else’s video.
  2. Begin with short attacks and learn routes for avoiding red tells.
  3. Choose parry-triggered equipment after learning a window you can actually parry.
  4. Check health, potions, weapon upgrades and capacity, without pursuing a fixed level or unearned mandatory item.
  5. When practicing in Boss Revenge, read its preset differences from the story. This guide does not claim in-game completion at every difficulty.

Seven checks when stuck

Place or symptomNext action
JahandarRush comes afterward; read the tail, yellow charge and later orb separately.
KianaWatch Chamrosh’s charge and Kiana’s spear; Claw comes afterward.
Sacred ArchivesDo not confuse recorded-action trials with returning to a Shadow.
Soma TreeCapture an explosive before aiming and releasing it; do not search for Orod here.
AzhdahaThe fight is in Pit of Eternal Sands; remember Satevis and the return afterward.
Tower of SilenceCheck King Darius and Fabric of Time anchors.
Final entranceCheck the Key of Kings and current story objective, and read the current quest’s requirements.

Records and links that reduce repeated dead ends

If repeating the same action does not work, record an image and pursue another objective. Distinguish height, dimensions, explosives, anchors and Chakram gaps, then revisit matching locations when you gain powers.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Q1 Must I follow exactly this order? ▼
A

Use main quests as checkpoints, without forcing the order of contemporary goals such as Clairvoyance and Dimensional Claw.

A

Story completion and collection are separate goals. Read the temporary endgame lock warning; remaining items can be collected in post-story free exploration.

Q3 How should beginners choose difficulty and equipment? ▼
A

Test controls and damage against early enemies, then choose settings, assistance and owned equipment. No guessed multipliers or level requirements are used.

Q4 Which power might I have missed? ▼
A

Use the acquisition table and power article. In particular, check Satevis then the return after Azhdaha, and the additional Chakram teleport after Menolias, separately.
