Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Boss Guide: Ten Encounters, the Finale and Rematches

This is a selection of ten base-game encounters, not a count of every miniboss. Vahram’s repeated fights share one entry; their available powers and rematch modes are distinguished.

Updated: 2026/10/17

Parries, traversal powers and equipment

Choose avoidance for red attack tells. Distinguish yellow counter opportunities from ordinary parryable attacks. A parry itself is not the same action as an Athra Surge.

Time Powers are the six traversal abilities. Athra Surges are combat techniques selected at a Wak-Wak Tree. Bahman’s Breath is a healing-support Surge, not a traversal power that slows the world.

ProblemEquipment options and conditions
Want to capitalize on parriesShield of Mithra creates a time bubble after a successful parry; Rukhsana’s Gift restores health after a parry.
Hits are costlyCheck owned survival options such as Blessing or Dragon King, and your actual free slots.
Want stronger arrows or normal attacksConsider Arash’s Arrowhead or Will of Rostam. Read the equipped description rather than assuming a multiplier.

General Uvishka

The introductory fight. First distinguish attack tells, parries and dodges.

Location and preparation

Story opening

No fixed HP, character-level requirement or compulsory S-tier equipment is claimed. Check your starting controls and health, then adjust the action that caused the failed attempt. Treat equipment changes and weapon upgrades as preparation after reaching the Haven.

Attacks, parries and dodges

  • Watch the tell for a large attack and prioritize a safe landing over repeated attacks.
  • Use short normal-attack strings and defend when the opponent resets.

Traversal powers versus Athra

Use the starting controls; later traversal powers are not prerequisites.

Starting preparation and battle flow

  1. For this introductory fight, check your current controls and health. Do not plan around Blessing or other equipment obtained after reaching the Haven.
  2. Check the parry and dodge inputs, read the attack tell, then counter briefly.
  3. If a long combo caused the failure, shorten it and leave room for the next safe movement.

Rewards and rematches

This fight advances the introduction. No fixed HP or recommended character level is given.

For updated rematches, check Artaban’s Boss Revenge. Unlocks and loadout rules are explained below.

Undead Prisoner

A large opponent encountered in Lower City. Read its long attack motions and avoid remaining directly in front.

Location and preparation

Lower City

No fixed HP, character-level requirement or compulsory S-tier equipment is claimed. Prepare according to your difficulty, health, potions, weapon upgrades and the action that caused the failed attempt.

Attacks, parries and dodges

  • Move outside the attack area when the opponent begins its motion.
  • Punish the recovery briefly, then wait for the next tell.

Traversal powers versus Athra

Basic dodges, jumps and normal attacks.

Amulets and battle flow

  1. If health is the problem, check owned survival options such as Blessing. Confirm free slots and equipped status.
  2. Learn a viable parry window before planning around Shield of Mithra or Rukhsana’s Gift.
  3. If a long combo caused the failure, shorten it and leave room for the next safe movement.

Rewards and rematches

An early progression encounter; a finished late-game loadout is not required.

For updated rematches, check Artaban’s Boss Revenge. Unlocks and loadout rules are explained below.

Jahandar

The Manticore in Lower City. Jahandar and the Manticore are not counted as separate bosses.

Location and preparation

Lower City

No fixed HP, character-level requirement or compulsory S-tier equipment is claimed. Prepare according to your difficulty, health, potions, weapon upgrades and the action that caused the failed attempt.

Attacks, parries and dodges

  • Move away from the tail’s ground strike, then counter during recovery.
  • The yellow charge is a parry opportunity; dodge red attacks.
  • Keep clear of the later purple orb and its downward beam while watching the boss.

Traversal powers versus Athra

Rush comes from the feather after this fight, so it is not required for the first encounter.

After victory, collect the feather beyond the arena and check Rush of the Simurgh.

For updated rematches, check Artaban’s Boss Revenge. Unlocks and loadout rules are explained below.

Kiana

The Forest Queen fights alongside Chamrosh at Soma Tree, rather than as a lone spellcaster.

Location and preparation

Soma Tree

No fixed HP, character-level requirement or compulsory S-tier equipment is claimed. Prepare according to your difficulty, health, potions, weapon upgrades and the action that caused the failed attempt.

Attacks, parries and dodges

  • Jump over the crossing charge and read the spinning spear before approaching.
  • Move sideways when a red tell signals an approach from the background.
  • Avoid the clone waves in the alternate arena by reading their entry positions and height.
  • Check opportunities to clear explosive pods with the bow. Watch both Kiana and Chamrosh later.

Traversal powers versus Athra

Attacks, parries and dodges

  • Attack when the head is low, then watch for the next tail motion.
  • Capture compatible projectiles with Dimensional Claw, then aim and return them.

Traversal powers versus Athra

  • Adjust distance around sweeping weapon attacks and ground strikes.
  • After the weapon splits, account for the chains’ wider reach.
  • Punish the end of whirlwinds and spins briefly instead of staying committed.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

A

Rush is obtained afterward, so it is not a first-fight requirement. Avoid red attacks and use confirmed counter windows such as the yellow charge.

Q2 Is there one mandatory strongest boss loadout? ▼
A

Choose by owned items, capacity and why the attempt failed. Do not require unearned gear or assumed multipliers; separate parry opportunities from survival problems.

Q3 Is Vahram fought only once? ▼
A

There are several story encounters. Do not confuse Fabric of Time after the Observatory battle with the final fight.

Q4 Can I refight defeated bosses? ▼
A

Check the updated Boss Revenge menu with Artaban. Boss Rush unlocks after the story and has different loadout and resource-carryover rules.
