Different Uses for Collectibles

Revisit After Gaining New Abilities
- Match obstacles with abilities: Koops for distant switches, Flurrie for concealed coverings, and so on.
- After gaining Yoshi's movement, Vivian's hiding, or Bobbery's explosions, review previous locations.
- Use Ms. Mowz's clues when checking missables and note uncollected locations.
Include Control Practice in Your Strategy
If Action Commands and guarding are inconsistent, practice with the Battle Master Toad. Stabilizing usual move inputs before building for high attack can reduce FP and healing-item use.
Check Updates If Progress Seems Blocked
Switch Ver. 1.0.1 fixes progression problems after passing the fallen tree on Twilight Trail without Tube Mode, and unresponsive controls after using Ms. Mowz's ability, among other issues. If symptoms match, check console software updates as well as walkthrough steps.
For saves beyond the fallen tree, after updating, save on the map containing the tree, return to the title screen, and reload to recover. Do not apply this same procedure universally to unrelated freezes.
