Searching does not open answer tables. Choose the answer you need and open it yourself.
Reception box and Room 2014
Once reception is accessible, read the letter behind the counter. If it specifies the following year, add 1 to the letter's date. Form that year using the box's rotating sections and remove the key.
The letter's date may differ from other playthroughs. Do not automatically enter an example such as 1962.
Film-poster locks
Match titles and years from Room 2014's VHS cases. Inspect poster operators, orientation, and divisions, then apply the same transformation to the corresponding year.
Scroll horizontally to read wide tables.
| Display | Approach |
|---|---|
| Plus sign between 2 posters | Add both films' years. |
| Reversed left/right | Reverse the year's digit order. |
| Upside down | Rotate the appearance of the digits by 180 degrees. Distinguish this from simply reversing digit order. |
| Separate halves | Take the appropriate side's digits from each film's year. |
| 4 quarters rearranged | Identify each section's original position, then arrange the year's 4 digits in that same order. |

Safes inside opened rooms are separate from poster locks. Read each room's letter anew.
RENZO in the exhibition room
Match the 9-section letter arrangement to the door's input panel. Take the positions of R, E, N, Z, O in order and press the corresponding keys.
Check letter positions on your own exhibit. Do not use another playthrough's 5-digit number as a fixed answer.
Roman-numeral locks
Inspect the Roman numerals on the music box on western 1F. After opening the corresponding 2F lock, record the room's wall number too; it leads to another Roman-numeral lock.
Scroll horizontally to read wide tables.
| Notation | Value |
|---|---|
| I / V / X | 1 / 5 / 10 |
| L / C / D / M | 50 / 100 / 500 / 1000 |
| IV / IX / XL / XC | 4 / 9 / 40 / 90 |

Do not overlook subtractive notation, where a smaller symbol precedes a larger one. If a lock asks for the symbol sequence itself, do not arbitrarily convert it to decimal.
Door near the 3F elevator
Connect the bell in a nearby picture with the words “third eye.” Look for an action available inside the elevator.

Bell action and library book
- Open the door near the 3F elevator by ringing the bell inside the elevator 3 times.
- Upon reaching the library's left side, pull the 1847 book to open the path to the room beyond.
These are 2 separate mechanisms. Do not reuse the bell count for the book or other number locks.
Frequently asked questions
Entering the poster year does not open the lock.
Check whether it is upright, mirrored left/right, upside down, divided, or an addition. Combine the VHS year with the poster's transformation.
RENZO's code differs from a number I saw in a guide.
Use the method of mapping R → E → N → Z → O positions to the input panel, not a fixed number.
