Guide to the original Game Boy game

Covers progression in the Japanese 1992 Game Boy version. Towns and plains use a top-down view; caves and the palace use a side view in which you control movement yourself. Only battles after touching an enemy are automatic. Distinguish the 3DS version's suspend and backup functions from the original save system.

  • No replay on original hardware has been performed. Numerical and progression discrepancies are covered only to the extent that they could be checked.
