This bilingual guide uses the official Update 8 and version 1.0 notes for the same selected scope: six build directions, eight encounters and five preparation groups. Region, equipment and settings matter. Difficulty letters are editorial comparisons, not official ranks or a gameplay-tested complete final-boss walkthrough.

💡 Beginner Tips
A beginner guide to Flame strengthening, Shroud time management, building basics and choosing a coherent skill direction. Use current requirements and HUD information for the route you plan.
At a Flame Altar, distinguish Strengthen the Flame from Upgrade Altar. Review the next strengthening requirements to plan progression and Shroud access; review altar upgrades for building range. Collect the actual requested materials rather than relying on a fixed timer table.
Ancient Spires provide fast-travel points that help with exploration routes. Approach them with appropriate equipment and use the unlocked travel options to reduce repeated journeys. Unlocking one does not guarantee that every nearby encounter becomes known.
Keep the timer visible and turn back while the exit remains reachable. Do not wait for the final seconds or rely on recovery supplies to overcome an expired timer. Check current Flame effects, skills and consumables before planning a longer trip.
Check the Flame Altar’s building range and construct the persistent base within it. Leave room for stations and future expansion. Check the current persistence and protection area before planning a large expansion.
Follow survivor rescue quests and use the Summoning Staff to bring rescued craftspeople to the base. Their work and station quests open recipes. Prioritize the survivor needed for your next tool, equipment or food-production goal rather than looking only for prisoners near Shroud borders.
Separate wood, ores, food and other crafting materials so the next task is easy to prepare. Use suitable chest locations and labels where available. Improve the system as the base grows rather than filling every passage with storage.
The open skill tree can be reset at a cost. Start from the weapon and role you want, then choose supporting damage, resource and defensive skills. Review current node effects and distribute points according to your chosen weapon and role.
Pay attention to how the chosen weapon or spell performs against the actual enemy. Bring an alternative when the current damage type is ineffective. Do not assume all enemies share the same fire, ice or lightning weaknesses.
Attacks, evasion and gathering actions compete for resources. Leave a margin for dodging and repositioning instead of spending everything on offense. Use appropriate food and current stamina-related skills to support the intended playstyle.
Up to sixteen players can share gathering, construction and exploration. Agree on responsibilities and when to regroup. Parallel work can be convenient, but this guide does not claim a measured threefold efficiency bonus.
Use a pickaxe for mining and the appropriate axe for wood. Check current tool upgrades and unlocked special abilities. A flail is not treated as a confirmed area-mining tool in this guide.
