🤝 Co-op Boss Coordination
Coordinate enemy attention, recovery and damage

Agree who will draw attention, who will deal damage and how everyone will recover. Match those jobs to the available equipment and skills. Keep enough room for attacks and retreats; these responsibilities can be combined and do not require fixed tank, healer and DPS classes.

Coordinate around each player’s Shroud timer

Monitor each player’s visible timer and agree when to retreat or regroup. Time and active effects can differ, so use the shortest safe margin when planning a shared trip. Check the shared world’s Flame progression and individual buffs rather than assuming each player brings a separate world Flame level.

Handle extra enemies during a boss encounter

When an encounter adds smaller enemies, such as the Fell Wispwyvern’s beetles, assign someone to keep them under control while others watch the boss. Communicate when switching targets. Do not assume every Vukah boss summons reinforcements or grants a universal add buff.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. How do I find bosses in or around the Shroud?
Use the current quest journal, survivor quests and map markers to choose a target, then confirm its actual location. Some encounters are discovered through exploration. Ancient Spires provide useful travel points, but do not assume unlocking one reveals every nearby boss.
Q2. What should I prepare before a boss fight?
Check four things: whether you can reach and leave the region safely with the available Shroud time; whether your equipment suits the local enemies; whether you have the relevant defenses; and whether food, ammunition and recovery supplies are sufficient. Avoid beginning a long fight with little time remaining.
Q3. What helps against bosses in co-op?
Coordinate damage, recovery and enemy attention. A front-line player can create openings while ranged or magic users attack, and someone can handle extra enemies when they appear. Up to sixteen players can cooperate, but a particular three-role party is not a guarantee of victory and boss scaling depends on the encounter and settings.
Q4. Why do I keep losing to a boss?
Check equipment against the local enemy level, time pressure in Shroud areas, damage effectiveness and stamina use. Practise avoiding the attacks that hit you repeatedly before committing to more damage. Check the actual enemy and current effects, then adjust your attacks accordingly.
