What to watch in the first attempt
- Before using all healing, identify whether melee attacks, area attacks, or reinforcements cause your hits.
- When an enemy readies an attack or surrounding indicators change, stop attacking and prepare to evade.
- Attack once after dodging, confirm a distance you can safely return from, then increase attack count.
- Try Red and Antea in turn, creating openings with available abilities.

| Failure | Adjustment |
|---|---|
| Hit immediately after approaching | Wait until the enemy attack ends and enter the opening afterward. |
| Surrounded while attacking | Check surroundings and reposition; do not watch only the boss. |
| Hit while lining up ranged attacks | Create distance and a line of fire first; be ready to stop aiming. |
| Healing comes too late | Heal after the dangerous attack sequence ends and check remaining supplies. |

Organize cases separately from boss fights
Haunting cases require investigation or conversation to resolve, so they cannot all be counted as boss battles. Separate story choices from defeating enemies in combat.
This guide does not assert that the same restraint move works on every boss or that an unconfirmed skill guarantees victory.
Frequently asked questions
A recommended move does not restrain the enemy.
Restraint does not necessarily work on every enemy. Check the in-game ability description and target, then return to exploiting post-attack openings.
Does this page cover every boss?
It covers shared combat decisions. Boss-specific procedures require separate checking.
