INDIE GAME / PLAY GUIDE
Islets walkthrough | Connect islands and reach the ending in 15 stages
Covers the main story, 16 bosses, directions to 60 upgrades, six ship parts and 44 achievements; remaining gaps stated · Updated 2026-10-13
An objective sequence for the main story across several islands. The two new air-route regions are not always treated as one fixed order; combine markers with missing abilities.
1 | Reach Grave Crawler on the first island
First learn sword, dodge and platform use, then follow the marker toward Grave Crawler. Do not keep searching inaccessible heights; leave them for a revisit after gaining abilities.
- Choose a card when you find an upgrade.
- Defeat Grave Crawler and acquire Double Jump.
- Use Double Jump to inspect return routes and formerly unreachable platforms, then advance cores and air routes.
2 | Sky City shops and mail
Sky City is your island-travel and upgrade base. Open mail and check sword, arrow and health shops, map functions and ship upgrades separately.
- Open the Post Box and read delivered letters.
- Buy Map Markers for 100 if possible.
- Head toward Sky Pirates on the next route. Keep evading in the first, unarmed encounter.
- Continue to Inverness Island.
3 | Obtain Slam in Tomb Ruins
Explore Tomb Ruins and Spirits Landing on the Inverness side. Slam from Tomb of 1000 Spirits opens downward obstacles.
- Reach Tomb Ruins' boss. Move with beams rotating along the walls.
- Acquire Slam after victory. Recheck downward routes and upgrades.
- Record markers and required abilities for other inaccessible regions.
4 | Buried Beast and ClockMaker cores
Defeat Buried Beast in Spirits Landing and ClockMaker in ClockWorks to reach their cores. Connections add return routes between regions, so recheck old dead ends.
- Avoid weapon firing lines in Spirits Landing and reach Buried Beast.
- Choose safe sides of turrets and rollers in ClockWorks.
- Advance each core to update island connections.
- Return to Sky City's shop after collecting ship Gear.
After connecting islands | Wall Climb at the two-head shrine
After NorthStable and Inverness connect, explore the ruins passage between them. Beyond Snoot's platform are two blue-gray stone heads and a centrally glowing shrine. Acquire its ability rather than guessing a reward from a boss's name alone.
- Follow the ruins passage opened by connecting two islands.
- Pass Snoot's platform and continue to the shrine with two stone heads.
- Take the central light and read the wall-climbing ability description.
- Climb the tall vertical wall just beyond it and revisit previous wall dead ends.
The shrine's appearance and acquisition were checked in public PC gameplay footage by the source. A complete coordinate-based route map within the islands is not provided.
5 | Arm the ship with two Gear
The first ship upgrade needs two Gear. Give them to Sky City's ship specialist, separately from normal sword or arrow shop upgrades.
- Check your Gear inventory.
- Get the first ship upgrade so you can attack aerial enemies.
- Choose the southwestern GrappleBot or northwestern MechaRat route.
6 | Open Eastwright and Wolfpine
GrappleBot opens Eastwright; MechaRat opens Wolfpine. Do not treat either region as a single fixed route before the other; travel between them according to reachable abilities and objectives.
- Against GrappleBot, evade opposite the lingering bullets along its charge.
- Against MechaRat, attack the head rather than chasing the body.
- Open the new island's port and follow the region indicated by markers.
7 | Forgotten Grave in Rainy Plains
Avoid ground waves and spikes, defeat Forgotten Grave and reach the core. The port area and rainy northeastern area are also revisits for additional events.
- Move into the air while the boss adds small spikes.
- Advance the core and update island connections.
- Check GreyBird's letters when returning to Sky City.
8 | Shift Arrows in Hanging Gardens
Fight Runaway Plant using falling-attack cues and cloud platforms. Shift Arrows afterward connects remote switches with your own movement.
- Change platforms according to the number of clouds and gradually move away from pursuing vines.
- Acquire Shift Arrows.
- Return to old dead ends and the Tomb boss-room mechanism.
- Read any letter from Snoot too.
9 | Swamp Frog's Cloud Arrows
Defeat Swamp Frog in Rainy Plains for Cloud Arrows. They create platforms above beams, making them necessary for later seal bosses too.
- Avoid bubbles and double-jump after the rocks explode.
- Acquire Cloud Arrows.
- Mark platformless heights and beam areas for revisiting.
10 | Propeller in Forgotten Rots
Avoid Stone Witch's fingers and rolling rocks to obtain the ship's Propeller. This is a ship part, not the same acquisition location as Wall Climb.
- Read the finger count to choose between dodging outward and entering a gap.
- Defeat Stone Witch and collect Propeller.
- If you chose the Forgotten Rots additional-event card, return to the same room later.
11 | Second ship upgrade and Defender Unit
The second ship upgrade needs three Gear and Propeller. Gather these separately from the two Gear spent on the first upgrade.
- Give the ship specialist three Gear and Propeller to gain dash.
- Head southeast of Sky City to Defender Unit.
- Dash through ring attacks, defeat it and continue to Cinder Island.
12 | Charge Attack in The Pits
Defeat Rogue Bot in The Pits on the Cinder side. Avoid the central turret and converging boxes to unlock Charge Attack and progression toward the core.
- Do not remain in the center; dodge sideways before the boxes meet.
- Acquire Charge Attack.
- Update island connections and your destination, then head to the two seal bosses.
13 | BoneGolem and FilthPest seals
Remove the seals in each domain to open the final route. Use spike gaps against BoneGolem and Cloud Arrows platforms against FilthPest.
- In BoneGolem's Domain, move to a safe area after the orb falls.
- In FilthPest's Domain, create platforms matched to beam height.
- Defeat both, remove the seals and head to GutGhoul.
14 | GutGhoul and the ending
The final battle reuses earlier bosses' attacks. Instead of charging into the center as if every attack were new, identify the original answers to clocks, spikes, beams and other patterns.
- Read attack transitions during the ground battle.
- The second half switches to the ship. Use aerial evasion and dash.
- Reach the ending after victory. Return afterward to check missing pickups.
15 | 60 upgrades and Final Gate
Collecting all upgrades after the story ending is fine. Buy Upgrade Markers and compare against Sky City's island counts.
- Check missing locations with Upgrade Markers costing 2,500.
- Check selected-card quests, letters, shops, spirits and the rain event.
- Collect 60 upgrades and go to Final Gate above the teleport point near Cinder Island's port.
- Unlock Boss Rush and select it from the main menu.
