Energy Breaker Guides
A late Super Famicom tactical RPG combining isometric battle maps with RPG exploration. These guides cover energy allocation, character roles, progression, equipment and difficult battles.
English translation of the existing Japanese guide. Japanese-release names and mechanics are retained; this is not a new gameplay verification or a claim of complete coverage.

- ・Collect hidden equipment before the final battle
Problem: Enemy reinforcements overwhelm you
Cause: Your starting formation is too aggressive
Solution: Pull your defensive line back and prioritize reinforcements
Problem: You can damage the boss, but ordinary enemies break your formation
Cause: Area attacks and healing are not cycling fast enough
Solution: Have support act earlier and add 1 character with area attacks
Problem: Late-game damage is insufficient
Cause: Development resources are spread too thinly
Solution: Concentrate resources on your main 4 characters and prioritize their equipment upgrades
🗺️ Follow Maira's journey across two eras
Begin by following Runarudo into Elutoa, the Wind Tree Realm. Defeat him in battle and he joins with Garibaa. On the main route, defeat boss Dariemu at the forest's bottom, return to town, and proceed to the locomotive event. Learn the controls and energy allocation here to make later progress easier. With few companions early on, focus especially on avoiding damage.
Chapter and stage walkthrough — read →🧭 Tactical RPG fundamentals: Bal and energy
Bal powers movement and techniques. A character can act repeatedly until it reaches zero. Movement has a flat cost regardless of distance, while energy adjustment and item use also consume Bal. Crucially, Bal recovery depends on Lp health: the closer Lp is to full, the more Bal returns each turn. Taking damage therefore hurts twice, reducing both health and next turn's actions. Avoiding hits is the highest priority.
Tactical maps and resource management — read →⚔️ Character-specific equipment and hidden gear that changes over time
Weapons are character-specific: Maira uses whips, Runarudo uses gunpowder and tools, and Staa uses claws. Prices rise sharply with attack power. Some weapons modify attributes: Birdwind Whip raises Dex and movement, while Break Beaut strengthens Con and Luk. Armor also has fixed eligible users; higher-tier options include Protective Dress, Gale Robe, and Superalloy Lab Coat. Give damage dealers weapons with useful modifiers and fragile characters strong armor, distributing gear by role.
