Energy Breaker(Super Famicom)
🗺️ Follow Maira's journey across two eras
Follow the amnesiac Maira as she leaves Zamuria Island, gathers companions, and investigates the mystery. The route separates the present from the past, during the young inventor's era. Understanding conditional map appearances and recruitment order keeps the main story moving. Specific locations and event order form the framework, with focused notes on easily missed branches.
Energy Breaker — what should I check first in Chapter and stage walkthrough?
Begin by following Runarudo into Elutoa, the Wind Tree Realm. Defeat him in battle and he joins with Garibaa. On the main route, defeat boss Dariemu at the forest's bottom, return to town, and proceed to the locomotive event. Learn the controls and energy allocation here to make later progress easier. With few companions early on, focus especially on avoiding damage.
| Phase | Objective | Checklist |
|---|---|---|
| Early game | Establish party roles |
|
| Midgame | Optimize movement for each chapter's victory conditions |
|
| Late game | Reduce mishaps on difficult maps |
|
1. Enemy reinforcements overwhelm you
Cause: Your starting formation is too aggressive
Solution: Pull your defensive line back and prioritize reinforcements
2. You can damage the boss, but ordinary enemies break your formation
Cause: Area attacks and healing are not cycling fast enough
Solution: Have support act earlier and add 1 character with area attacks
3. Late-game damage is insufficient
Cause: Development resources are spread too thinly
Solution: Concentrate resources on your main 4 characters and prioritize their equipment upgrades

- ▸ In the Runarudo battle, circle around to the left, avoid Garibaa's blocking role, and approach Runarudo himself
- ▸ Attack Dariemu at the forest's bottom from a distance with Shot, leaving close combat to the arriving Leon
- ▸ The Jumokutei in Oruga Town is your early base. Advance Selfie's event to continue
- ▸ During the runaway locomotive event, fight Mecha Swat while operating the engine room's lever and buttons
After meeting Emirina's group in the frontier town, Staa joins at the doctor's house, followed by Doroshii beyond the Barasaito battle in Ensaikutsu. Staa does not spark techniques: this unusual companion absorbs them by defeating enemies with Attack. Absorbing techniques in ordinary battles broadens your options. Garibaa also leaves temporarily, so prepare a formation that works without the blocker. Destroying the underground factory's SS System is the turning point that leads across eras.
- ▸ Barasaito's level rises sharply in the second Ensaikutsu fight; it is effectively unbeatable, so deal only with the ordinary enemies
- ▸ Keep fragile Doroshii at the rear and use Pigma's ranged support
- ▸ Obtain the blueprint at Limits's house and give it to Runarudo to bring Garibaa back
- ▸ In the underground factory, the black-and-yellow striped zones at the map edges are safe from lasers
After the Limits battle atop Sareki no Tou, the time machine activates and sends you to the young inventor's era. In the past, speaking to frontier-town residents makes locations such as Emilio Clinic and Isari's house appear in sequence. Completing events in the required order is essential. Eventually return to the present, visit Ryuusui Kaikyuu, Ensaikutsu, and the Golden Palace, then reach Mugen Seiin for the final confrontation. Final boss Oriares has multiple parts, so stock up at the item shop before attempting it.
- ▸ Past-era maps unlock in a largely fixed sequence. Work through residents' conversations individually
- ▸ At the crystal, choose either Runarudo or Staa to accompany you inside Doroshii
- ▸ Before Mugen Seiin, buy Tsuyonaaru V, Katanaaru V, assorted scrolls, and healing items
- ▸ Oriares's main body is the red upper section. Deal with surrounding parts first
Energy Breaker: follow the listed steps in progression order.
