Preparing for Each Boss
Scroll horizontally to read wide tables.
| Opponent | Location | Building Your Strategy |
|---|---|---|
| Robbin' 'Ood: Battle 1 | Skyfell Tower | Reduce the number of henchmen. Dazzle and sleep are options, but prioritize healing allies hit by desperate attacks. |
| Ripper of the Rift | Pyramid | Deal first with Kylla, who uses healing and sleep. Prepare spell damage reduction against Woosh-family spells. |
| Robbin' 'Ood: Battle 2 | Kidnappers' Cave | Watch for the henchmen's Midheal and Kasap. Distribute healing items rather than leaving treatment to 1 character. |
| Orochi: Battle 1 | Orochi's Lair | Secure healing against fire breath. Consider ice and lightning attacks, then recover before entering the travel portal. |
| Orochi: Battle 2 | Jipang | Prepare for stronger breath than in battle 1 and for paralysis. Bring Full Moon Rings or Tingle. |
| Chiromancer | Gaia's Navel | A solo battle. Defeat the supporting Madvlad first, then use equipment that can withstand Frizzle and provide your own healing. |
| Dying Fire | Theddon | Calls reinforcements, including Phantoms. Combine group attacks with sleep and paralysis cures. |
| Boss Troll | Manoza | Prepare for desperate attacks and Fuddle. Consider confusion resistance, revival, and debuffs such as Attack Attacker. |
| Garboyle | Mount Necrogond | Multiple actions and fire breath are dangerous. Divide responsibility for Insulatle, paralysis treatment, and MP restoration. |
| Baramos | Baramos's Lair | Prepare to withstand both spells and breath. Expect multiple actions and attack only once you have healing to spare. |
| Soul of Baramos: Battle 1 | Tower of Rubiss | Reduce the Demon Amigos first to stop enemy healing and buffs. Maintain breath and spell damage reduction. |
| King Hydra | Citadel of Zoma | Prepare for Sweet Breath. Distribute items so other companions can wake a sleeping healer. |
| Soul of Baramos: Battle 2 | Citadel of Zoma | Watch for Thwack and multiple actions. Check the Sacred Amulet, revival roles, and backup healing items. |
| Bones of Baramos | Citadel of Zoma | Counter strong physical attacks with Kabuff or dazzle. Keep an attacker available so you are not trapped in a healing-only cycle. |
| Zoma | Citadel of Zoma | Use the Sphere of Light first. Prioritize ice and breath damage reduction, and reapply necessary support after Disruptive Wave. |
| Xenlon | Citadel Tower | Divide party healing and MP restoration to handle attacks that hit everyone. Wishes also require victory within a turn limit. |
| Pandora's Box Trial | Temple of Trials | Watch for reinforcements and status ailments. Blasto works on the trial enemies; distinguish them from ordinary chest encounters. |
| Grand Dragon | Temple of Trials | Speed and multiple actions are major threats. Separate attacking, party healing, and MP restoration, and build a party that can recover after buffs are removed. |

Checks Before Consecutive Battles
- Decide who will carry the Sphere of Light so it is ready for use in the Citadel of Zoma.
- Distribute healing items, MP restoration, and revival options across several companions.
- Choose equipment suited to each boss's ailments and breath attacks. Do not compare defence alone.
Frequently asked questions
Is repeatedly putting the enemy to sleep safe?
It is not guaranteed. The update made repeated status ailments harder to inflict and increased resistance at high difficulty. Do not skip healing and durability preparations.
