“A co-op horror game about filming frightening encounters and friends, then getting the footage home to SpöökTube.” — Editorial summary

🎥 What is Content Warning?

🎬 Film monsters and post to SpöökTube

Film creatures and strange objects in the Old World, bring the camera home and upload to SpöökTube. Track the view quota and cash for equipment. Ordinary shop funds are separate from sponsorship MC.

👥 Divide roles in a four-player team

Share filming, observation, leading the way and keeping the escape route clear. Coordination lets the camera operator capture the encounter while others watch the way home, creating a distinctive mix of laughter and screams.

📈 Explore toward a three-day quota

Upload after each daily excursion and work toward the required views within three days. Use the revenue to prepare equipment for the next trip. Days alone do not establish an automatic map or equipment unlock order.

🆓 Free during its first 24 hours

Launched on 1 April 2024 with a limited free promotion, then continued as a paid game. Review counts and percentages vary by date and language; consult the saved Steam data shown on the hub.

Keep a retreat route while framing the creature and its response to teammates

FAQ

Content Warning FAQ

Q1 Is it still free? ▼
A

The launch giveaway was limited to the first 24 hours. Check the store when buying now and distinguish it from a license claimed during that promotion.

Q2 Can I play solo? ▼
A

Solo play is possible, while the official presentation centers on two to four players. Alone, you handle filming, lighting and recovery, so favor a short excursion and a reliable return.

Q3 How can I improve views and income? ▼
A

Frame subjects and team interactions and reliably complete return, extraction and upload. Consider audio tools when the basics are stable; the effect of a shot or item is not presented as a guaranteed multiplier.

Q4 What happens if I die? ▼
A

Surviving teammates decide whether they can recover the camera and tools. A Defibrillator may allow revival, but assess the route to the body rather than risking the whole group.

Q5 Does it support Japanese? ▼
A

Steam lists Japanese interface support. Check the language setting if needed, and agree on a shared language or signals for voice chat.

Q6 In which order should I buy equipment? ▼
A

Establish charged lights, camera recovery and returning first, then share tools such as the Hugger, Defibrillator, Shock Stick or Rescue Hook as needed. Consider audio and Clapper extras when funds and slots allow, checking shop prices.

Q7 How should a beginner group start? ▼
A

Assign filming, lighting and return checks before leaving. Learn the route back to the bell and complete a short filming-to-upload cycle. Do not assume a particular factory is a guaranteed safe tutorial.

Q8 What is the main filming habit to learn? ▼
A

Balance readable framing with a way to bring the camera home. Do not chase proximity alone; practice stopping in time for oxygen, recording capacity and the route back.
