Choose a section by room name and gun

The following sections contain puzzle solutions. Check the English map name and open only the room where you are stuck. Branching paths mean this is not a chart requiring every room in the listed order.

Opening solutions: Leap Of Faith and looping stairs

Even in the same hall, falling, walking or turning around can lead to different exits.

  1. At the large gap in Leap Of Faith, walk forward without jumping to reveal a path underfoot. If you jump and fall, explore the other route below
  2. If the stairs in Many Paths To Nowhere loop, head back from the junction. Follow the green corridor to the Esc message, then press the actual Esc key
  3. In There’s No Way In, looking through a window changes where you can go. Walk around to the other side of the window beyond the dark passage and look through it to enter a new room
  4. After taking the blue gun, continue to mechanisms that require collecting and placing blocks

Watching the eye on the wall behind you at Leap Of Faith opens another entrance. You do not need to solve everything beyond it immediately.

Logic 101 / Skinning A Cat: prop doors open with blocks

The blue gun is sufficient. When a door opens only while its laser is blocked, consider how to hold it open instead of trying to run through faster.

  1. In Logic 101, interrupt the laser yourself to raise the door, then place a block in the opening to support it
  2. Pass under the door, recover its support block and use it at the next sensor
  3. Recover used blocks, including steps over walls, before continuing
  4. In Skinning A Cat, first use the sensor to open the green door and prop the outer door open with blocks
  5. Remove the sensor block to switch to the blue door, then prop that open too. Finally block the sensor again and pass through the inner green door

Distinguish the sensor block from the blocks supporting the doors. If you are short, revisit the completed part of Logic 101.

Toward the green gun: The Butterfly Effect and Not Enough Pieces

On the route from The Butterfly Effect, you need the platform's block later. Warping straight to Not Enough Pieces skips this supply.

  1. In The Butterfly Effect, push the box to lower the platform and use a block as a stopper
  2. Board the platform, then recover the stopper to ride upward. On the Jumping Through Hoops side, step into the upper passage as you rise
  3. In Not Enough Pieces, recover accessible blocks from the side you have just passed through whenever you open a door
  4. Bring the final four blocks, including one from The Butterfly Effect, to the last door. If you lack enough, restart earlier and collect them
  5. On the alternative Now You See It route, keep watching the door you need while collecting blocks and moving. If the room changes when you lose sight of it, restart from the preceding map point

There are multiple routes to Learning To Draw and the green gun. These two solutions are not a single mandatory sequence.

Learning To Draw: draw a block line through the narrow channel

The green gun places a continuous line while you hold the left button. Shift from targeting one block to tracing a narrow route.

  1. Collect obstructing blocks from an end. Cutting the middle can make another part disappear
  2. Place a block in the slot on the side of the central glass structure
  3. Place continuously along the channel to connect the line to the distant sensor
  4. Enter the opened passage and recover usable blocks
  5. Fill the route to the exit sensor too. If you reach a path blocked by yellow regenerating blocks, leave it for a return visit with the yellow gun

Toward the yellow gun: a route from Three Paths In Sight

This is one route available after obtaining the green gun. Practice multiplication before attempting puzzles that require long rows to disappear together.

  1. In Three Paths In Sight, take the side with the eye wall and keep watching the eye to open the passage
  2. Hold Shift to walk slowly through Running Into Trouble
  3. In The Ground Floor, interrupt the laser with blocks to make a route forward
  4. In Managing Resources, use eight blocks to make a 3×3 ring with an empty center. When the center fills, collect the blocks to increase your supply
  5. Gather enough blocks, open the right-hand door and continue to Link In A Chain Reaction

This route uses ordinary green-gun abilities. You do not need to throw blocks through a field as a skip.

Link In A Chain Reaction: clear four endpoints together

The goal is to leave all four lasers unobstructed at the same time. Removing each end individually will not synchronize the disappearance.

  1. Trace which blocks connect the center to each laser
  2. Connect branches so the distance from the chain's starting point to every endpoint is equal
  3. Collect the starting block and watch the disappearance spread to each endpoint
  4. If one endpoint clears early, add distance to that branch on your next attempt
  5. Pass through while the door is open and obtain the yellow gun

Matching branch lengths makes the result easier to inspect than repeated clicking. This guide specifies neither exact seconds nor a single required diagram.

I Only Need One: move blocks through an inventory-clearing area

The yellow gun can move blocks without returning them to inventory. Use this when collecting a block inside the passage makes it disappear.

  1. Place a block outside the field
  2. Select it with the middle button and look in the direction you want to move it
  3. Follow the moved block, taking it to the other side as a placed object without collecting it
  4. Once outside the field, move it to the required sensor

This does not directly apply to other fields that erase placed blocks too. Observe what disappears.

The Highest Point: the final mechanism before the red gun

Use the yellow gun. One approach climbs the shaft on the eye-wall side of Leap Of Faith using block steps. You need not force a route to the visible red gun using only the blue gun.

  1. Use the central space to form a ring and multiply enough blocks
  2. Collect one block from the middle of a regenerating row
  3. Move one side elsewhere with the yellow gun before the gap regenerates
  4. Operate the regenerated original side and the moved side separately to interrupt the distant lasers
  5. Avoid packing the center with unnecessary blocks. Guide rows to the remaining sensors, then take the opened route to the red gun

If separation fails and the row reconnects, check whether you moved it quickly enough after collecting. Source descriptions disagree on the required block count, so no fixed count is given.

Toward the ending: remove the large wall and follow the black cube

This section includes ending actions. Practice making surfaces with the red gun, then gather blocks and head to the final entrance near A Jump Too Far.

  1. Expand blocks from the gap beneath the wall to form a surface connected to it
  2. Use red-gun collection to remove the large structure and enter the opened passage
  3. In the final area, follow the black cube. Collect it when you can reach it, then observe the changed tool and space
  4. Reach the platform with the sphere and enter it when it opens
  5. Place the black cube you are holding at the white cube's position inside

You do not need every pink cube or wall saying first. Interpretations of the ending's symbolism differ, so actions and story interpretations are kept separate.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the same room look different from the solution?

Your view direction, entrance side and gun change the situation. Alongside the room name, check your carried blocks and previous entrance. Reenter from an earlier point if needed.

I cannot gather the four blocks for Not Enough Pieces

Check the route that recovers the block used in The Butterfly Effect and carries it forward. Warping directly into the middle skips that block.

Is entering the final area before taking the red gun a bug?

Alternative solutions and progression orders have been reported. This guide uses the red gun for an approachable example and does not label another order a bug automatically.
