ANIMAL WELL Tips: Exploration, Tools, Eggs, Rabbits and Endings

Connect tool functions to the problem in front of you. Choose a relevant tip, using observation, records, other branches and revisits with new tools as the basic loop.

Exploration and movement

  • Observe differences in walls, scenery and sound, marking them specifically. A different pattern does not guarantee a hidden passage; record attempted tools too.
  • After obtaining UV, revisit rooms with unreadable markings. UV does not solve every movement obstacle.
  • Explore another branch when stuck. Save at a telephone before testing old marks with a new tool.

Using tools

  • Use B. Wand bubbles for platforms or descent, checking currents, vines and fish-head pipes.
  • Throw and rebound the Disc horizontally, practice boarding it or distract dogs. Check its height after rebounding.
  • A Match is consumed to light a Candle. Distinguish that from a firecracker’s temporary light and the Lantern’s sustained illumination.

Egg and rabbit collection

  • Record eggs on five shelves; UV helps reveal markings. No proportion of UV-only eggs or universal UV prerequisite is claimed.
  • The 16 regular rabbits involve individual movement, waiting, sound and mural puzzles, not only animal reactions. Record clues and input order separately.

Endings, deeper puzzles and revisits

  • Separate the first credits from progression beyond 64 eggs. Do not infer story requirements from the GOOD ENDING achievement name.
  • Limit community reading to your current puzzle. This guide does not certify the current unsolved count or every input sequence.
  • Save at a telephone and test Animal Flute animal shortcuts separately. Remote and TV interactions are not ordinary fast travel.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Q1 What kind of game is ANIMAL WELL? ▼
A

A nonlinear exploration and puzzle game by Billy Basso, published by Bigmode. Use tools and observe animals, scenery and sounds to open routes.

Q2 How long does it take to finish? ▼
A

Exploration and puzzle-solving time vary widely. Treat the first credits, 64 eggs, 16 rabbits and deeper puzzles as separate goals; no fixed completion time is guaranteed.

Q3 Does it support Japanese? ▼
A

Japanese is supported. This guide has not checked every Japanese UI label or platform-specific control, so tools are also identified by English names and function.

Q4 Are eggs and rabbits the same collection? ▼
A

The 64 regular eggs and 16 regular hidden rabbits are separate. The egg shelves have five rows; 64 eggs are not a shared unlock requirement for every rabbit.

Q5 In which order should I get tools? ▼
A

There is no single mandatory route. B. Wand follows a three-switch puzzle using seahorse bubbles; obtain the M. Disc for a safe Disc exchange.

Q6 What is Bigmode? ▼
A

The independent publisher co-founded by videogamedunkey that published ANIMAL WELL.

Q7 What are the Disc, UV and Wheel for? ▼
A

The Disc supports horizontal movement, compatible switches and distracting dogs. UV reveals markings; the Wheel operates compatible tracks and mechanisms. Choose tools for each room.

Q8 How do I handle the chameleon? ▼
A

In this encounter, bait its tongue toward the porcupines. Stand nearby, then retreat at the tongue cue so it hits a porcupine. If a tool knocks an animal off its platform, consider resetting the room.

Q9 How do I handle the ostrich? ▼
A

Use moments when its head retreats to enter the lower routes and reach yellow buttons. Firecrackers can temporarily make it retreat in some situations. Watch the head rather than treating it as a damage-based fight.
