B. Wand

Acquisition and route

Reach the three yellow switches on bubbles created by the seahorse. Continue through the upper-left opening to the green chest.

Basic use

An empty bubble rises and an occupied one slowly descends. Use it as a platform or to control a fall.

Puzzle applications

Currents and water jets can lift it; vines and other obstacles can pop it. Test fish-head pipe interactions too.

Advanced use and control checks

Practice jump-and-use timing in a safe open room to chain bubbles. B. B. Wand is a separate upgraded tool, not the initial wand.

Disc

Acquisition and route

Explore around the dog shrine to obtain the M. Disc and exchange it for the real Disc. Removing it without a substitute starts a chase; return it if taken prematurely.

Basic use

Throw horizontally and rebound it from walls; use compatible switches or distract dogs.

Puzzle applications

Ride the moving Disc for horizontal travel. Check where vines stop it and which height lets you board after a rebound.

Advanced use and control checks

Pass while a dog follows the Disc. It has not been defeated, so recheck the route when returning.

Firecrackers

Acquisition and route

Check placed bundles and refills during exploration. Watch the consumable count and save at a telephone before a dangerous branch.

Basic use

Scares ghosts and some animals, and provides temporary light.

Puzzle applications

Inspect platforms in a dark room and leave an escape route. Do not assume it breaks every wall.

Advanced use and control checks

K. Shards dropped after startling a kangaroo are a separate collection goal for unlocking another tool.

Slink

Acquisition and route

Look for the chest above stair-shaped platforms on a chameleon-side branch. No single acquisition order is imposed.

Basic use

A spring that descends stairs. Leave it on a hold switch while you move elsewhere.

Puzzle applications

Use wooden platforms and steps to control where it falls, separating your upper route from its action below.

Advanced use and control checks

Some puzzles involve leaving Slink and switching to a tool such as the Yo-Yo. Record its position and the door that changed.

Animal Flute

Acquisition and route

Eight regular eggs open the corresponding egg-room access. The eighth egg does not add the flute automatically; return and collect it from the chest.

Basic use

Use directional input to play notes. At an ordinary flute statue, test the passage opened by one note.

Puzzle applications

Entering an opened animal mouth is separate from puzzles with longer melodies. Check directions and notes in your own controls.

Advanced use and control checks

Record musical clues in order rather than trying another room’s song everywhere. Distinguish egg count from successful input.

Yo-Yo

Acquisition and route

Check the chest along the ostrich-side route involving shafts and yellow buttons, moving while its head retreats.

Basic use

Use the extended Yo-Yo on compatible distant or lower switches, or to attract an animal’s attention.

Puzzle applications

Aim through gaps between levels, then identify the responding mechanism and your route.

Advanced use and control checks

Check situations where a chinchilla can be guided as a platform. WALK THE DOG concerns movement, not a generic conversation with a dog.

Spinning Top

Acquisition and route

At 32 regular eggs, return to the corresponding egg-room door to collect it.

Basic use

A tool for digging through compatible ground and revealing paths.

Puzzle applications

Revisit rooms with suspicious soil or floor differences and record which surfaces can be dug.

Advanced use and control checks

Keep Top’s digging role separate from Slink’s hold-switch role. Choose using your map notes and the action you need.

B. Ball

Acquisition and route

Gather three K. Shards by startling kangaroos with firecrackers, use them at the matching device and follow the opened route to the chest.

Basic use

A bouncing ball that breaks compatible rectangular blocks.

Puzzle applications

Use the block arrangement and rebound path, distinguishing it from diggable ground.

Advanced use and control checks

Watch the rebound path before moving in a confined area. It is not described as a ball you ride upward.

UV

Acquisition and route

Progress through collecting Matches and lighting Candles, then check the later route associated with the E. Medal. Every individual location and melody input is outside this page’s scope.

Basic use

Reads hidden markings and messages; distinguish it from movement tools.

Puzzle applications

Record the order and shapes revealed on walls, floors and scenery. Do not postpone solvable platforms or switches just because you lack UV.

Advanced use and control checks

No guessed share of eggs requiring UV is supplied. First decide whether the current puzzle needs a clue read, movement or a mechanism interaction.

Other tools and the travel distinction

ToolAcquisition and use
LanternFollow the dark route opened after the four flames and check the chest beyond the white bird. Use it for darkness and shadows.
WheelA reward from freeing the caged cats with the flute. It operates compatible channels and mechanisms, rather than rolling up every slope.
RemoteCollected along the S. Medal route. It affects switches or the TV in rooms with compatible receivers; ordinary fast travel is a separate Animal Flute system.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Q1 Can I return for a missed tool? ▼
A

Record blocked paths and revisit when another tool makes them accessible. This guide does not certify recovery from every possible save state.

Q2 Is tool acquisition order fixed? ▼
A

There is no universal single order. Check individual requirements such as the 8- and 32-egg doors against your tools.

Q3 Can tools be combined? ▼
A

Some puzzles let you switch tools while using a placed object or bubble. Check the mechanism and which effects remain.

Q4 When do I need UV? ▼
A

Use it to read hidden markings. It is not a universal starting condition for egg collection or every movement route.

Q5 What if I cannot work out a flute melody? ▼
A

Check directions and notes in your own controls, then record the local mural or arrangement in order. Distinguish a statue’s single-note interaction from a longer song.
