Nine town-category species
English names help match the wildlife guide. To avoid confusing species sharing a Japanese common name, check calls, appearance and registration slots as well as names. Locations do not guarantee fixed individuals.

When a photo does not count toward progress
Check cleanup, tools, repairs and photo submission in order. Photographing an animal alone does not replace sign photos.

Barn Owl rescue and later location
At the construction site, follow its call to rescue it. Some sources place it later at the town/reserve boundary, so distinguish a rescue deadline from possible ordinary photography. All spawn behavior by platform/day remains untested.
