Combat basics
Gaining the first strike
Slash an enemy symbol with the sword for your first strike; frontal contact is normal, while contact from behind or above gives the enemy first strike.
Four-person attacks and CT
Chain attacks with companions assigned to Circle, Cross, Triangle, and Square. When CT reduced by attacks reaches 0, finishing moves and Great Magic become available.
Transfers and evaluation
Sending einherjar to the divine realm removes them from the party. Check chapter requests and consider both combat strength and rewards before transferring.
Beyond increasing attack counts, consider the order for reducing CT to 0 and positioning to stop enemies with a first strike for more stable battles.
