Torneko no Daibouken 3 Guide (PS2)

This guide covers the PlayStation 2 release from 2002, excluding the Game Boy Advance version. Besides Torneko, you adventure as Popolo as the story progresses. Preparations and individual turn decisions differ substantially between Torneko, who fights with swords and shields, and Popolo, who recruits monsters.

The main article, “Early Progression and Popolo Basics,” covers shopping at Seabed House, traversing areas with many waterways, and recruitment basics that require you to deliver the final hit yourself. Levels carry over through much of the main story, but some dungeons start you at level 1, so check entrance conditions.

Covers basics to reduce mishaps for players starting the main story. It does not provide a floor-by-floor Otherworld Labyrinth guide, every monster's recruitment rate, or optimized synthesis marks. Do not transfer leveling procedures from dungeons with different purposes directly to the story.
