Progress through the Scrapper
Check whether a mission actually advances progression, rather than counting completed jobs.
Steps and checks
- Learn the controls with the tutorial Expirator. Do not treat the following Bavarius encounter as an ordinary winnable fight.
- Find the highlighted progression jobs on the Scrapper's screen and prioritize their requirements.
- When a boss becomes available, repair and check firing angles before setting out.
- After victory, inspect unlocked bodies and weapons and test their differences before the next job.
Compare early bodies
Older reference values can differ from the installed version. Recheck the in-game display before buying.

Build for controllable fire
A high damage figure is not useful if recoil or firing arcs prevent sustained hits.
Steps and checks
- After changing a mount, test which directions it can cover.
- If recoil disrupts a light body, reassess the pairing rather than damage alone.
- Test turning, rough ground and landings after changing suspension.
- Keep repair resources and avoid replacing the entire build with unfamiliar parts just before a boss.
Special boss responses
Watch summoned enemies and ground warnings to create safer attack opportunities.

| Overseer | Leave red artillery warnings and reposition to attack subsystems or explosives. |
