Version and coverage

This guide covers the Japanese-language Wii release from 2007. The current walkthrough covers Part 1 Chapters 1–2 on Normal. Since growth and transfers from Path of Radiance can change stats, it does not use fixed values to guarantee kills or survival.

Check the part and army together

The main game has four parts. The controlled force changes by chapter: Part 1 follows Micaiah and the Dawn Brigade, Part 2 Elincia and the Crimean army, and Part 3 includes Ike's Greil Mercenaries. Army composition also matters in Part 4. A “Chapter 1” in another part is a different map, so include the part number when searching.

Changing armies does not necessarily mean your items disappeared

Immediately after switching armies, you cannot simply use the previous army's items or Bonus EXP. Each army's state carries forward to its return, and they are combined in Part 4. If items seem missing, first check which army you control.

Objectives also change between Normal and Hard

Difficulty differences extend beyond enemy strength. Part 1 Chapters 1 and 2 have different victory conditions on Normal and Hard. The site's walkthroughs state their target difficulty. Do not unconditionally apply Japanese Normal procedures to an overseas difficulty with the same name; also check the in-game objective display.
