Chants of Sennaar
Chants of Sennaar: validate glyphs, recover missing pages and pass early stealth
Writing a translation in the notebook is not the same as confirming it. Your typed note is a working theory that appears when you see that glyph again. Confirmation happens on the illustrated notebook pages, where you match glyphs to drawings. If the page does not confirm, review every match on that page rather than assuming the last word you entered is the only error.

Build a theory from an action, not a shape alone
Watch what a speaker does before and after a sentence. Compare repeated signs, conversations and inscriptions, then give an uncertain glyph a short provisional label. A symbol near an upward path could suggest several related ideas; test your note against another context before treating it as a fact.
Finish examining the object or listening to the exchange, and close that view. A drawing page can appear after leaving the interaction. Opening the notebook immediately to annotate a word does not mean that you have already triggered every illustration associated with the scene. When the drawings arrive, use them to check the whole group of guesses.
When you know a word but have no page
Open solution / late-game details
A missing illustrated page can mean that you have not performed its observation trigger. Return to the relevant area and use the interaction-hint control to look for objects you have not examined. Merely walking through a room or recognizing the meaning from another clue may not count as the required inspection.
For the large monument in the Warriors' fortress, inspect the inscriptions and use the wheel and lever in its side gallery to view all three faces. Reading only the initial face leaves information unseen. For the vessel, key, instrument and balance group, recheck the antechamber adjoining the Treasure room; examine the markings on its walls. These are different observation checkpoints, not one generic instruction to repeat every conversation.
The developer has explicitly explained that missing glyphs and achievements in the base game can be recovered by backtracking. Do not abandon a save simply because a notebook page is absent. First identify the missing group and revisit its observation trigger. This is more useful than filling every visible slot with random guesses.
Separate word meanings from sentence rules
A correct vocabulary list does not automatically give the correct word order. Look at how each people expresses a plural and how a sentence is arranged. When translating between communities later, build the answer in the receiving language rather than replacing glyphs in the original sequence. Keep these grammar observations alongside your notes; a dictionary-style label alone does not describe them.
Early fortress stealth: move when the view is blocked
Open solution / late-game details
At the fortress approach, take the opening in the red wall instead of walking down into the hostile guards. Inside the early patrol rooms, watch a complete movement cycle from cover. Follow behind the counter-clockwise patrol, leaving enough distance from the next guard behind you to stay unseen.
In the corridor with marching warriors, wait behind the low wall and cross when the marchers block the stationary guards' view. Use the gong to draw guards away, then move behind their former position. In the later trolley section, a stone thrown at the gong distracts one guard while the passing trolley blocks another guard's sight. Both conditions must overlap; a noise by itself does not make the whole room safe. If an attempt fails, change the crossing time rather than repeatedly running the same line.
Questions and answers
Does typing a translation confirm a glyph?
A typed note is a hypothesis. Confirmation uses the illustrated notebook page; if it fails, check the complete group of matches on that page.
