Five area achievements and three glyph-validation achievements
Count correct validation on picture pages, not merely tentative text entered in the Journal.

Four terminal and link conditions
Meaning sequences are on the six conversations and four purple doors page. Do not combine six conversations and four rescued people into a count of ten conversation pairs.

| Cable guy | Travel terminals | Interact with and activate every travel terminal in each area. Walking past or finishing conversations does not substitute for activation. |
Seven return visits after restoring links
Some conditions do not unlock simply by leaving the completed conversation. After connecting the relevant peoples, return to the places below.

| A great audience | Warriors ↔ Bards | Watch the show for the Warriors from the overlook along the corridor to the Fortress bell room. |
| For its own good | Warriors ↔ Alchemists | Return to the first laboratory and inspect the covered monster cage beside the Warrior. |
| A Link to the Past | Bards ↔ Alchemists | Return to the Library and meet the Bards among the shelves and desks. |
| Alchemists Express | Bards ↔ Alchemists | Actually ride the cable car linking the Garden entrance and terminal 9 side of the Laboratories. |
Four optional actions and two endings
Ending actions are on the final walkthrough page. Optional actions have different conditions from translating conversations.

| The Preacher's fate | Maze beneath the cemetery | Inspect the Preacher’s corpse at the northeast end. Stopping the water and heading to the exit is not enough. |
| Fashion victim | Warrior Armory | After ringing the Call, leave the Armory in equipment other than the Chosen outfit. Choose the soldier’s spear, shield and small helmet. |
| True G3M4R | Garden / windmill side | Win both the bird game and the blue-symbol game. Winning just one for the theater ticket is insufficient. |
| I did it | Tower summit | Before completing every link and rescue, use the summit panel to see the apparent ending. |
| In this together | Tower summit and reawakening | After all links and four rescues, complete the chase and escape after reawakening, then use the summit panel again for the true ending. |
