Separate the main weapon’s single-target role from abilities that cover nearby enemies. Do not assume automatic healing or an unconditional bonus against undead.

Read which attack-speed, Force and other bonuses apply to summons. Do not treat him as a dedicated class for stacking every curse and poison.

Distinguish direct Fire damage from Burn bonuses and read abilities such as Flame Strike. Equipment to prevent self-explosions is not a prerequisite.
Which character is a useful starting point?
Start with Swordsman to learn attack direction and movement. Surviving Haunted Caverns until 26:00 remains unlocks Archer for a ranged approach. This is not a strength ranking of all characters.
Is there a single strongest build?
A controlled ranking of every character in the current version has not been verified. Choose around weapon and ability tags, unlocked equipment and the quest objective. Do not apply the same multipliers indiscriminately to direct damage and effects such as Burn or Spark.
How are characters unlocked?
Swordsman is available first. Individual conditions unlock the others: survive Haunted Caverns until 26:00 remains for Archer, defeat its Lich for Cleric, or kill 1,000 enemies in one visit to Ember Grounds for Exterminator. Read the objective and progress on the Quest Board.
How can I play Exterminator more safely?
Keep an escape route while applying fire. Distinguish direct Fire damage from Burn upgrades and avoid enemy projectiles and contact. Fictional equipment to prevent self-explosions is not required.
