💡 Key guide points

🗺️ Historical branching and era-by-era progression

The protagonist has no body, initially inhabiting Tooru, a villager killed on the eve of his wedding. Early progress focuses on Tooru's circumstances and the signs of catastrophe shown by the World Chronicle. Eventually the protagonist moves into another body and enters a broader historical struggle. Keeping track of whose body you occupy helps clarify your early objectives.

📖 World Chronicle and historical intervention basics

The World Chronicle records future events and follows the protagonist as a blue orb. It has a will of its own, guiding the protagonist toward changing history. Choices alter characters' survival and political circumstances, affecting subsequent Chronicle entries. Understanding it as the story's central device rather than a mere tool makes the plot easier to follow.

⚔️ Using companions, equipment, and event items

Companions join and leave according to progression and choices; the party is not fixed. Figures such as Gainasutaa on the Garamania side, Kunon, and Saman become involved at turning points as their positions change. Current membership affects strength and available magic branches, so review formations as circumstances change. Following conversations and incidents carefully helps you use companions effectively.
