Laplace no Ma Guides
A Cthulhu-style horror RPG set in a haunted mansion in 1920s New England. Form a party with distinct professional roles, investigate and photograph supernatural phenomena, and prepare supplies for exploration and combat. This guide follows the Super Famicom edition.
English translation of the existing Japanese guide. Japanese-release names and mechanics are retained; this is not a new gameplay verification or a claim of complete coverage.
Early game
Establish a class-based party

Midgame
Stabilize mansion exploration and information gathering
- ・Organize investigated and uninvestigated areas by section
- ・Identify places prone to supernatural encounters and safe zones

Late game
Prepare for powerful enemies and check missed elements
- ・Prepare equipment and consumables for your main classes
- ・Review the formation against tendencies of supernatural opponents that caused trouble
- ・Recheck unexplored sections and events

Solution: Divide the mansion into sections, list investigated and uninvestigated areas, and work through them in order
Problem: Supernatural opponents overwhelm you
Cause: Class roles and equipment upgrades are insufficient
Solution: Clearly assign attack, investigation, and healing roles, then replenish equipment and healing before combat
Problem: You cannot sustain exploration
Cause: Healing or investigative tools were inadequately prepared
Solution: Secure healing and investigative tools before setting out, and avoid pushing too deeply
