🗺️ Progression and events across eight layers
Begin at Ryuuen and establish your foundations while traveling with the white dragon. Naga Temple sells charms, and your choice there determines the nature of the young dragons born later. Around entering the second layer, the white dragon lays eggs and twin young dragons hatch, making raising them central. Amrita, who is key to the story, appears from early on, and pursuing her frames the entire journey.

The white dragon handles direct attacks and healing/support Mantras, fighting alongside you from start to finish except during childbirth. Charms determine the young dragons' traits. Newborns initially lack distinguishable colors, but their individuality emerges as they grow. Young front-line attackers supported by the white dragon form a reliable division. Develop each with its intended role in mind.

Weapon types differ substantially. Swords allow shields for balanced offense and defense; axes are male-only. Spears require both hands, preventing shields but offering defensive benefits. Daggers improve speed and may add special effects. Staffs disable normal attacks while equipped but suit Mantra use. Bows require both hands and raise several attributes. Choose according to role.
