Dome Keeper Guide

An observation example for ground enemies approaching the dome. Watch time to contact and weapon reach. When attacks approach from multiple directions, avoid leaving aim fixed on only one side.

Officially described as initially high-health, losing most health on transforming before firing a powerful laser. Respond within the short post-transformation window rather than missing it while tracking other enemies.

For quick approaches, reconsider return timing and target order. Check visible movement and weapon reach; do not let an extended mining trip delay your response.

It disappears after a while if left unshot, but bursts into Walkers after sufficient damage. Shooting does not always reduce pressure; consider other enemies and your aim.

Weapon damage upgrades (Weapon upgrades)

Choose damage upgrades from the current dome weapon tree

Weapons such as Laser improve through resource upgrades. Distinguish weak damage from a late return, then compare relevant branches and costs. Check weapon upgrades separately from supplements found while exploring.

Keeper drilling power (Drilling power)

Choose drilling upgrades according to rock-breaking time

Check options such as Engineer drill strength. Evaluate drilling power, carrying capacity and return speed separately, spending on the part of the current route that consumes time.

Dome protection and Shield (Dome protection)

Check health/repairs separately from primary-gadget protection

Dome health and Shield effects differ. Retain repair resources according to damage and read current battle-ability descriptions. On returning, check whether protection is sufficient for the next wave.
