💡 Key guide points

🗺️ Following the Route Through Ruined Areas

The journey starts at the observatory, then visits an abandoned subway station, a closed underground shopping district, and an empty amusement park. Learn flashlight exploration and basic combat early, as encounters with silver-haired Ren and conversational AI P.F give the journey purpose. Learn merchant trading in the underground shopping area. If lost, return to a bonfire and look for unexplored passages.

🔦 Exploring Through Light and Bonfires

Use the Wii Remote pointer to aim the flashlight into darkness and passages to find routes and items. Sounds from the direction you illuminate can come through the Remote, providing audible clues to unseen enemies or presences. Unlit places are easily missed; sweep each room with the light. Do not rush—illuminate intriguing directions and check responses.

🗡️ Managing Breakable Weapons and Supplies

Broad categories include sticks, spears, hammers, and bows. Sticks are quick and accessible; spears offer reach and coverage; hammers are slow but hit hard. Bows attack distant foes and help against enemies difficult to approach, but tend to be fragile. Switch categories to suit enemies and circumstances.
