BALL x PIT Early-Game Guide — Descending Enemies, XP, and Upgrades

Distinguish between released/basic strategy/Naturalist additional elements · Updated 2026-10-12

Think about eliminating the enemy and securing an escape route before the enemy arrives. The basic idea is not to remain in dangerous rows in order to collect experience points.

Separate the direction you want to attack from the direction you can escape from.

Look at the lines of enemies and distinguish between enemies that are close to your feet and those that are far away. Reflection using walls is a way to land attacks, but avoid placements where you lose your escape route to aim for reflection.

  1. Look for columns that are moving toward the bottom of the screen.
  2. Check which side you can move to, then direct your attack to the closest threat.
  3. You can pick up the experience points from the place where the enemy disappeared once you can enter.

Decide on candidates to grow before taking new varieties

Level 3 balls are candidates for Fusion and Evolution. If you keep taking only new types, you will be delayed in getting the duplicates you need to strengthen them. On the candidate screen, check your current level and the role of the ball you want to raise.

After losing, Ran narrows it down to one reason and looks back on it.

This determines whether there were many types of balls, whether the level was low, or whether there was no escape route when the enemy approached. Limiting the number of changes you'll try on your next run to one will make it easier to compare the effects of the buildings you've bought and the differences in new attacks.

The optimal order of reinforcement will vary depending on the initial character and appearance candidates. We do not specify a fixed strongest configuration that must be taken every time.
